Worst hotel dont stay here bcuz the ac works but even if you turn on the fan its still hot wifi speed: very good mini fridge is half frozen and the bed was very dirty. The curtains are so small. Worst do not try this hotel.

Very bad experience! We booked a room for 1 days and they charge Rs 1800. In this price they cant provide any toiletis, water, toilet tissue except a soap! Television, Telephone are out of service. Furnitures are very old.

The hotel is quite clean, dashing along with good hotel staffs, The entire service of the hotel itself is outstanding. The receptionist, waiter, room service all are outstanding. I requested them for my early check-in, they easily provided the same without of any cost. It is quite a budget friendly hotel with outstanding locality nearaside. One can easily visit , New Market area,Indian museum, chowrangee lane as well as park street area from this hotel.

Worst hotel service in Kolkata I guess! This hotel doesn't even provide basic toiletries and other basic things in the rool service. The hotel changes reserved the room after the booking, therefore you can't get your room what you've reserved before. The stuffs are not well mannered, their behaviour is very annoying. The washroom facilities aren't satisfactory. If possible, avoid staying this hotel.

This is my first trip in Kolkata on 12 Jan, 2023 and having bitter experience in Hotel VIP Continental at 40, Mirza Galib Street. I think this is the worst hotel in Kolkata. My family & I stayed two nights here and have to change the hotel due to their worst worst worst service. On my last day at this hotel, their electricity was gone at night and they've no back up,we spent the whole night without electricity. They are the money monger, took almost 4000 rupee per night but did'nt provide any service at all, they just provide the room only, don't provide any commodities, not even water for drink on welcome day. Their bed sheets, blankets all are super dirty, lift always out of service. On my last day at this hotel, request for some discounts as we were spending the whole night without electricity, but they refused me to do so. I would like to request all BD people not to go there as at this price range you'll get lots of better hotels in Kolkata city. If there any -ve rivew, I would like to give them.

Kolkata hotels are just for sleeping. If you want to enjoy the Hotel stay, we need to pay 6k just for a average 3/4 star hotel. Hotel VIP Continental is just like Sleeping hotel after long shopping day. Don't expect anything from them

Overall good hotel to stay near kolkata new market area. Price is little bit high but service is good though. Stuffs behaviour is good. Recommended if money is not a big deal. Rooms are quite wide. Little bit crowded area in front of the hotel. But comparatively nice hotel in this area. Price starts from 2000 may be.

In 2018, I stayed for 1 week. 1 double bed room with AC costs me 2000INR. There was a small cooler in the room. Staffs are good. Its weird but the day before I checkout manager came to my room and ask for tips!!! I gave him 20INR and he took it. Wifi signal was poor in the room.
