OYO 77608 Beach House Studio - Hotel in Puducherry, Kalapet - Pondicherry, India

Located just before the sea so nice view. The room was too small, no ventilation, the bathroom was the worst experience. They locked the door by 10pm and did not allow us out so had to climb four floors to have that beautiful view to the sea. Emergency need can go there but other than that i won't prefer it. They also charged us extra 300rs saying Oyo is having some issues.

The price was 724 at the oyo apps. When I reach the resort the owner ask for extra 700 insisting that it cost 1400 a night.on top of that its non refundable so I cannot cancel it otherwise I will lost my money . If anyone want to book a room anywhere better not use online for resort because of the price by the owner of the place or because of the oyo company strategically advertisement for wrong info.

the only plus point of the facility is its location which is right on the beach. it is safe and if you want to only need a place to park your luggage and sleep for few hours then go for it. there is no food facility, no toiletries so please carry your own stuff but the oyo app showed availability of these things. the fridge was not working and with souring temperatures, we had to drink luke warm water. the balcony can be used only to hang your clothes but you can't sit there so no point of asking for a balcony thinking that you can enjoy the view from your room. there were clothes hanging all over the staircase by other occupants. the beach is not clean and big pile of plastic bags and waste is near the facility. the room and toilet was clean thankfully. no wifi given either. go for it only when you run out of any other option or if you can stay outside of it whole day. oyo customer support was really bad. not going for oyo ever again.

Room amenities not included what mentioned in room amenities , no mini fridge, no mobile signal getting in room, no complementary water bottle provided, for online booking they only listed one type of room that is a small room and they'll charge hefty when you want to change to a better room. Toilets are not maintained properly, no shower working and the tiles are slippery as algae formed om it.

While booking in oyo app for classic room size is 120 and deluxe room size is 100.i booked classic 2 rooms while checkin at room they are showing classic as 100 and deluxe as 120 and saying oyo app not properly updated. Worst experience and payed 1500 for large deluxe room. And in room ventilation window also not available totally bad trip for us

first of all, early check-in was not permitted. second of all the staff was very rude to us. we had booked 3 rooms and they entered all the three rooms when we were not there without informing us, but thankfully none of our belongings were lost. they had shifted tables from one room to another and the weirdest past is when we entered the room and saw our tv was dismantled and shifterd to someother room. it was a very horrifying stay at the hotel and none of us felt safe. not safe for couples. the owner of the hotel told us that staff would be changed not sure if he'll be fired or not.

We book classic room it's very small. we pay extra they provided balcony view room it's really awesome. it's 1bhk flat straight sea facing view just 20 metres distance from beach.

Rooms not available, but the cash had been paid. The property manager and the receptionist, alloted my room to some other guests , has they have paid some extra cash in hand. Very poor behaviour from property handler, I'd prefer to give -5 rating. Don't ever try this property
