OYO 75244 Royal Shades - Hotel in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

Okay. So first things first. There are two Hotels of the same name. One at NR Complex, Murgeshpalya and the other near Leela Palace. I'll be talking about the NR Complex one. The hotel is on the 1st and 2nd floor (reception on the first and rooms on the second). The rooms are good enough and all of them are air conditioned. My first room had a broken shower head and on informing this to the staff my room was shifted. The room service is fine. The hotel has amenities like WiFi and free breakfast. The food is provided by Udipi Restaurant and purely veg. The food was good but a little high on pricing (not sure if this opinion will match others).

I booked 2 rooms but the hotelier was not aver of that he arranged the second room after we reached there. I checked into a room within 5 mins burning of electric circuit in the main switch and fused off. The hotelier checked and gave me new room. In that the tv was not working and the whole night there was sound like someone is nailing in the upstairs. Next day only I found that was the sound of fan which was hitting against the fall ceiling. The toilet flush didn't work. They have mentioned there is free car parking space available it's really free in the side of a duntchend dirty road. Literally parked my car with two wheels in the drainage and jumped out of my car. To say in a simple way it's a old grane with full of make up looking little young.

It's a cross between lodge and hotel. Guess this is what a budget hotel looks like. If you are going to room just to sleep, this could be fine. Caution: toilet tolerable but not ultra neat. Mattresses and sheet were old but comfortable. It's bang on main road and near to bus stop and shopping complex.

I am really disappointed with place and service. The rooms are not clean and very bad smell. Don't choose this place and am asking help with oyo also like change nearby property or return back my cash but no response from them. Even though I didn't stay at night in Hotel.0% rate also not worth for this hotel.

hotel is good. but at night they pull the shutter down. feels you are in a closed area. window of the room could be easily opened from outside. another important thing make sure you the location right. The app gave me a location of another hotel(branch of same hotel) and when i asked direction to this hotel, they showed a pamphlet to get the address. it was tough to get that full address. when i asked for landmark they said they don't know. when as per the address i fed the information in google map, it showed me some 5-6 kms away. to reconfirm i asked the receptionist to chcek he said yes mam this is the place. I called the reception office(of my hotel branch) to confirm address, they gave me the correct address which was within a km. Hence make sure where exactly your hotel is.

Hotel is just above udipi park restaurant and is set in 2 floors. Very dark and isolated during evening time. Not suitable for young couples or solo women. Rooms are kept clean and are quiet spacious. Good value for money

Nice rooms at a reasonable price, the staff is comparatively very good.+10 extra marks for good location. Has a great restaurant behind it.

The experience was not so good. The room quality wasn't that good. Rest the things were all fine. The location was pretty convenient. Overall an average experience. Hotel is suitable for individuals.
