OYO 74233 SR GRAND - Hotel in Vijayawada - Krishna, India

To start with, please don't get fooled with the tag "Luxurious" attached ... This is not even a deluxe hotel. There is nothing good to talk about this hotel. Bedsheets, towels are not clean (looked like not even washed, check the images).No soaps are provided. Bathrooms are not clean (check images). Service boy behavior is very very annoying. Coming to my personal experience, we were on a leisure tour. I had my father, mother, grand father, grand mother, my wife, my brother & my nephew with me when we decided to take room in this hotel as it was tagged as Luxurious hotel. When we checked into the hotel, we saw the dirty bed-sheets, rooms & bathrooms & we have asked the boy to give washed bed-sheets, towels. We were very very unhappy with his reckless behavior. He didn't even listen to what we say. Then, because of the time (we checked in into hotel at 11PM), we had convinced ourselves to stay for the night. Then, we found out that water is not coming in the bathroom taps & then again we asked the boy. He said it will come in 5 to 10 mins & then after sometime, we realized that shower is leaking & hence they have stopped the water to the bathroom (Check photo, shower & lower tap, both are pouring water). We could not stand & brush in the bathroom, as the water leaking from the shower is drenching us. Finally, we didnt even take bath in the morning & left the room at 8AM. PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL......

Hotel is almost like what other travellers have shown thro photos. Except, the cleanliness is very poor. I got a room with shabby floor. Towel n other toiletries was also not provided. For a hotel at this price should offer extra amenities.

I book hotels based on reviews from Google, Makemytrip and other websites as well. So sharing my reviews here too. The owner/manager Mr. Ashok, is a quite good person, but the hotel is a complete waste. Pathetic. Horrible. There are no aminities such as wifi, breakfast, bathroom kits, water bottles not readily available. A stinking smell on the bath towels and bedsheets. Ac rooms are available. But only ok. Good things is that, a hard rock bed. Good for the spinal cord. No bed bugs (i am seriouly worried wherever i go about bed bugs). But lot of mosquitos. Washbasin taps are broken. Washroom gun is broken. Lots of complaints. But only for a bachelor it is somehow ok for a night if u dont have any other go. Nothing else.

room size was good but was not hygienically good. rooms have cockroach bed sheets are dirty. staff does not know Hindi, so we can not interact with them properly.

very worst experience has ever seen this kind of hotel in Vijayawada before. when we checked in the reception staff was rude and so disrespectful. the floor and room is totally alcoholic smell. there is no intercom phone also. since night there is no water supply till they on motor in the morning. shower and flush are also not working in the bathroom. we need to pour water with the bucket . there are too many mosquitoes and no mosquito repellent also. there is no bed bulb or even dustbin also. the bedsheets are also torn and pillows are also odd smelling . the whole night we are unable to sleep with baby. it is not at all suitable for the families because beside the hotel is bar and restaurant. there is no lock for the bathroom also

good hotel. nice locarion. no restaurent. but food available near by. staff not so cordial and not approachable. thats the one thing they can improve. linen not clean. location.

I never ever seen like this worst hotel.. very very poor service.. hotel service boys very rude behavior with costumers.... even hotel owner also not a professional person... hotel owner and service boys from village people's.. they don't know how behave with guests... really I totally Disappointed... especially marketing people's don't book this hotel.. marketing person he needs good service at night time... especially family members and couples don't book this hotel u will be disappointed the full day.. price also very high compared to very good hotels in Vijayawada same location....

arrogant staff, I was for a day , I checked in at 9.30 am .. receptionist has asked extra money asking check in is at 12 noon as per booking ...I informed I am coming Vijaywada regularly it's 24 hour only. ..he was keep on asking extra Rs 200... ultimately allocated after heated argument.. again while check out next day at 9 am ..I asked him to keep luggage at reception/ other place and I will collect it in evening ...he again argued and then agreed. .this are simple things ...i travel frequently ...no other places I have to face issue like these . do not go by name. .Grand Ashoka , small hotel ...room was not clean ...I found spider net and lizard. . . toilet flush was not working ...
