OYO 68670 Shiv Shanti Lawn - Hotel in Raebareli, Didauli - Rae Bareli, India

It has only 3-4 rooms, it is basically a lawn which books Room also, Room is Ok but there is no service at all, in the name of Food they collaborate with some other hotel and they charge too much

This appears to be a marriage garden where the rooms are being let out during the off season - nothing wrong with this except that the basic facilities one would expect from a hotel are all missing. 1. Prior to booking I made a call at the provided mobile number & was told that rooms cost between 700-1400. I confirmed whether the 700/- room was available and was assured that yes rooms in all ranges are available so I can see and select my pick. Once i reach there the local caretaker took me to the topmost floor and then informed that only this room was available and the cost is 1600/-. After I was getting ready to leave another person appeared & these 2 people chatted among themselves and this same room was then offered for 900/- I did try to get them to lower the price but 900 it was and since it was getting close to midnight I reluctantly took the room. 2. Now, the toilet and the bathroom is as shown in the photos. The only problem is that it was not cleaned in a long time. The moment some water started flowing insects and ants of all sizes came out from the cracks between the floor and the walls! 3. There was urine on the toilet seat! Not urine marks but urine. And the toilet had not been flushed afterwards either 4 AC was not working 5 No arrangement for food - I could only get a cup of tea and that too was of very baad quality. It shows that the caretaker is not a cook but just a caretaker! 6. There was hot water in the bathroom but the shower only had cold water 7. Bed sheets were not clean but ok but the blanket was a bit dusty 8. There are a lot of mosquitos. A lot. The owner has put mosquito screens on the door and apart from that there is not much that he could do but still this is something one should be aware of. 9. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. There are windows but the moment you open them there comes a hoard of mosquitos. I ended up not opening the windows for this reason. 10. To top it off when i was leaving the same caretaker asked for a bakshish - "to clean the room" All these flaws can be overlooked if one just considers that it is a marriage garden first and foremost. Charge 500-600/- and it is a good stay. 700-800-900 or more for this property! Well there are way too many better hotels available at that price range with a boatload of better facilities!

Stay was good neat and clean peacefull place As we stay for some hours Room was inclusion of breakfast but no breakfast was provided , no staff, no housekeeping staff only one old age care taker was there he is very good person who help us for tea and he make really good tea

Not bad. no food facilities. place was very messy. overall it was my 2nd stay. and still I had a bad experience.

need to some changes but good,rooms are small and otherwise good to stay and staff is good and location is also good

Excellent amenities and good rooms good behaviour of staff

It's okay okay type not so cool but ya it's is nice
