OYO 63756 Yercaud Residency - Hotel in Yercaud - Tamil Nadu, India

Google should provide an option to give 0 star as well to rate this kind of places... Worst place to stay. I booked this place through booking.com. I did not get any facility mentioned in their site except 4 walls, a roof and a bed with dirty linen. I had booked in a half board plan and realised that there is no restaurant at all in that place. The front desk guy didn't bother about all these. He simply said "check it with booking.com, it is a mistake from their side". He was not ready to repay the difference at all. Worst of all they don't accept credit card. They simply say pay it through GPay or get cash from ATM. I've never come across this attitude anywhere else in my life.

No heater, no lights in toilet from night at all rooms - seems they controlling the power consumption. Rooms are very dirty. Poor service and response for any request. But they trying to be kind. Cots quality was bad and decomposed condition. Blanket was very old, seems they purchased during statt of business.

We stayed in this place from 15th - 16th Jan 2021. We had a sudden plan for Yercaud and hence could not check the review of this place. This place is so dirty that a new Corona type of virus will surely one day emerge from this place. The staff is non cooperative. Washroom are smelly and non ventilated. Taps don't work properly. We reached at 1 pm but we're still asked to wait for 1 hour as the rooms were not cleaned. This place seems to be frequented by unmarried couple who book rooms in hourly basis to have cladestine s_e_x. I happen to see many such couples without any luggage coming and leaving frequently. Please don't book this place, even if offered for free. Only good thing about this hotel is its location, just near to the bus stand.

In my experience, I didn't see this kind of worst hotel. Any time having very bad smell in that surroundings. No proper maintenance, need to go with lot of rules. They are not even ready to provide extra bed sheet and pillow. If they provide, they are charging Rs. 200/- for that which is too costly. No proper response for customers.

After haggling over the room rates, I ended up with a nice spacious room, that had everything that I needed for a 2day stopover. Light and breezy with wifi.....when it works. Very friendly manager, who changed both the pillowcases and the bed sheet after some friendly persuasion. Hot water is from 8am. Make sure to get a room on the SOUTH side away from the noisy bus terminal! Toooo much noise and activity.

Worst experience ever. This is the worst hotel in yarcaud. Don't go for it. I had a bitter experience. As it is near to bustand, so we two friend decided to book it.and the price is also reasonable. But it's a trap only. The manager cum caretaker just a tout. While we entered asks for advance of full day booking. But surprisingly even paying money, the person not willing to give any bill. Saying that he will sent later. But after few hours when we enquired about bill he was asking rs 200 extra as tax. But initially he said it is tax included. As I belong to a central govt department, i showed my ID.. Then the caretaker assured that he would provide bill in short time and surprisingly after some time the room boy came with a bill which belongs to other hotel no stamp, no gstin.. Nothing is there. So this peoples are simply cheating common tourist and I'm daamn sure the hotel doesn't have any legal permissions. Besides there is no ventilation in washroom, after using bathroom room will be full of bad smells and suffocating. It's totally unhygienic. This hotel should be blacklisted.

Very worst place to stay...It looks like hospital/college hostel. No maintenance and very irrespective approach to customers. They said lot of rules (1. Should we sleep before 11 pm, 2. Don't have drink after 11 pm and 3. They don't open the main door after 10 pm). We spoiled our trip because of this worst hotel. Guys who read this review, please don't choose/ suggest this residency to your trip.

Worst hotel I have ever seen. Hotel interiors are like haunted house. Bath rooms are the most haunted places. There is no ventilation in the bath rooms. You can't go out after 11pm, since they lock the main door and they will insist you to sleep.
