OYO 6246 S K contenental - Hotel in Mysuru - Mysuru, India

I stayed in a non AC deluxe room, considering the daily temperature in August AC room don't make much sense in a place like Mysore. Room as well as attached toilet/bathroom were spacious and neatly maintained. Food from their restaurant were value for money considering the taste and quality as it was cheaper compared to other similar hotels though you can find cheaper food outside but the taste can not be compared to that of DeLemone's(SK Continental's restaurant) taste. For complimentary breakfast also they provide good variety e.g, idly, dosha and puri along with chatni sambhar and sabji. Staff was helpful, few times we asked them for hot water for our baby and they provided boiled mineral water without any charge or without any delay. Its conveniently located, zoo as well as the palace are within 1- 1 1/2 km's range.

Hotel is good, budget and value for the money we pay for. We booked a deluxe room 3 guests, 1350rs with breakfast, through OYO. I found thats good deal. Room is clean , couple of dressing mirrors is fixed and a wardrobe. Its walk-able distance to Mysore palace. Not a big parking space.

Located conveniently near Mysore suburb bus stand yet not on a busy main road , it has nice interiors to welcome you and the receptionists are kind too.The rooms were neatly arranged and good except the signs of wear and tear here and there. But , for us , the positive experience ended here.We ordered food from restaurant and service was not good enough , not serving completely as per our instructions.You are supposed to get 2 water bottles per day and we got it on the first day , but next day when we asked the receptionist about it , they told they will send it and even after two reminders over phone , it was not provided.Even request for an extra bath soap multiple times fell on deaf ears and we managed with a single soap provided. The hotel provides free breakfast and it is worth to be bragged about at all.We felt only bread/jam combination was worth trying (as that was not prepared by them!). And while told about all these experiences , the receptionist was just telling that since it was holiday time , they were busy and might not be able serve better.I mean come on , just manage things better , even if it is rush hour.They dont seem to be make a record of requests and attend them in order , they just listen to your requests and satisfy them later , if they remember it.

A very good budget hotel. Make sure you get one of the rooms on the first floor they are the nicest rooms. Unfortunately there is not really any hot water. It gets a bit hot but not to a strong heat. The restaurant is not bad. The breakfast is okay the basic vegetarian breakfast. It is close to the palace and the zoo. And also there are restaurants nearby. I can recommend the restaurant which is called restaurant R R R

Good value for money place. It is clean and maintained. Food is available on order. Staff is helpful. Car parking is just outside. There is an Atm, resturant, close by. One of the room I stayed in has a low window on back with no grill. I was with my 2year old son and this is a hazard. The mattress was slightly tilted, depressed from one side. Hence uncomfortable.

The rooms that don't have AC are just mediocre. Breakfast provided are OK. A prominent place with ample parking space and ATM next door are the + points. Check in and check out for a day or two is good. The lobby is big with a 5 person elevator.

Horrible place. I had stayed two nights here. This place is just too much overpriced for the facilities they offer. Well there aren't any proper facilities. They didn't provide towel or shampoos. The bathroom had an open ventilation, how are people supposed to take bath without getting peeked on. The door to the room was horrible too. It wasn't even closing properly. The room was not cleaned even after being requested. The hotel staff are quite rude and not pleasant at all.

Reasonably priced good hotel with good service and good restaurant offering variety of veg / non veg food. Room Rates are negotiable. Value for money. My stay of half a week was worth it. Mysore palace is nearby and similarly markets and other restaurants. Only three kms from Mysore Railway Station.
