OYO 5638 Om Regency - Hotel in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

You must ensure to arrange for your food in a separate restaurant and in advance because this hotel does not serve food. We had to walk 2km to get dinner and were served food after a long wait.

Valuable!! Worth for Money !! .I stayed there for 1 night ! With total 4 guests !! The best part abt this hotel is their Rooms & their Beds ! If you want room for 3 persons then they have particular beds , Specially for 3 persons also !!

This is the horrible hotel experience ever. Owner is very rude. They keep on shouting on their guests, their own staff even. Cost display is not the same of actual charge they are charging. Worst service.

It's was great experience staying here the rooms are pretty good. The view from the room to the guwahati city is easily visible.The staff are very kind and helpful!! Rest it is very much near to kamakhya temple.!

The worst possible hotel and service ever. It is very cramped for space and no hygiene in corridors. Feels like a lodge. Some room are good though, but mostly all have no phone network, their wifi is s**t and mostly turned off, their AC's are turned off from counter. The water shuts off then takes 10mins to resume. Half the things in the hotel don't work and they try and get more money out of you. The staff is very lazy and very rude and the worst part is the owner has an excuse for everything and won't solve your problem. Absolutely pathetic place. Go here only if it's the last place on earth or if you want to spoil your trip. I would give them -2 stars for service

The views from the hotel balcony is awesome. The rooms are good. However, the staff are very unprofessional. For example, in my case, they said "you were supposed to book online..the rooms available only for Indian nationals.. the room rate is high.. this is expensive for you" and bla..bla. Finally, they provided a room. It felt me like I was begging. I requested a brush and tooth paste for the evening and gave some money to one of the staff, but I got it next day 9:00 AM after several calls. The service in restaurant is very poor, but the food quality I found was not bad. The lift is conventional. You must have a cell phone with Indian SIM card to enjoy free wi-fi. They did not care to handle luggages during check-in & check-out. What the hell they do. Shameful! I suggest the hotel management to learn to respect the guests with dignity because you are paid for that. But I must confess, the hotel is very convenient to the people who are on a pilgrimage to Kamakhya Goddess Temple. Anyway, thanks for your hospitality. Hope to see you in a reformed way in the future!

Horrible to stay.No minimum maintaince. The floor is moist .The open electric wire is seen in wall.The Electric switch is broken. Bedsheet,pillow cover and towels are dirty and old . whether they clean it regularly or not I don't know. Water supply in bathroom is very poor. Water outlet of AC opens in bathroom so the AC water is comming out in bathroom wall through out the day.Quality of food is worst.

Simply awesome. Make sure you book rooms prior to your trip coz we saw this place always having rush, mostly all rooms are booked. However staffs are good, all rooms have balcony with good view specially room 701 and 703. We loved the cozy comfortable stay here. They serve complimentary breakfast, but other meals are little overpriced and quantity of food is less but it is pretty tasty ! It is not even 10 mins walking from temple. Rooms are quit spacious and clean.
