Such a great place! Very comfy bed and nice quiet location. The owners are incredibly helpful and helped us to arrange a 5-day itinerary in Meghalaya which was life saving. The cafe terrace also has a great view and the coffee is delicious! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here.
The Living Roof Hotel in Shillong, Meghalaya exceeded my expectations. It offers a fantastic ambiance and more than what I had anticipated. Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food is incredibly delicious..!!
Had stayed here for 2 nights. The owner is cool and the helper is the coolest. And they have a fury baby named Lassi and she is so friendly! Rooms are neat and clean and some are spacious. The service was good and the food was delicious. The issue I faced here is for hot water. They have geysers in every room but despite leaving it on for 30-40 mins I only got like warm water.
Worst experience ever. Book here from MMT 2 months befor the trip. Payment done through online at the time of booking. The process done smoothly. But the worst is yet to come. Call twice at mmt customer care for confirmation and they confirmed that the hotel room is booked for us (two double bedrooms). The day before check in when we all are in the train a mmt person call us and tell that they need to cancel the booking because of some technical problem. We ask for other substitute hotel of same category but they told they are unable to provide any and just forced to take the money back which they already sent back to my bank account. Make the starting of the trip awful. A very third class experience from MMT and from the hotel also.
The owner and the staff were all very helpful. They gave good recommendations for our three day trip and took good care of us when we were felling unless. Highly recommended this place!

The hotel is about 2km away from police bazar, located just beside the Shillong college. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The bathrooms are clean. But food price is quiet high.
Extremely rude. No breakfast was provided even after charging hell alot. Never ever go there if you dont want to burn a hole in your pocket
