Best location in Shillong with very comfortable stay
It was a great stay in the hotel. The manager was really great . All the staffs are well behaved and mannered. The room had a fantastic view of the far mountains. Next time I will surely book a floor or 2 above. The food it was good but the taste could have been a bit better. The rooftop bar it had a great ambience calm and serene. The location of the hotel is just in the centre of Shillong, police bazar , from transportation to shopping to food each and everything is within hands reach

The best and affordable place to stay in Shilong. For who loves street shopping, the hotel is located right in middle of Police bazar (famous market in Shilong city). Room service is very fast and staff from hotel are very kind and polite. Rooms are neat and clean. Hotel have restaurant on 2nd floor with great food and wide range of dishes with affordable price. Breakfast in the morning was awesome with lots of options. Hotel also have roof top bar. The hotel is well maintained and have very old and a classic look and also have great view of city from each room.
Excellent hotel at a great location. Big spacious rooms with very good views. Very neat and clean washrooms with modern amenities. Delicious breakfast with various options. Location is the USP as its situated right in the police bazaar surrounded by many eateries. Highly recommended.

The rooms are decently clean. But don't expect much as the hotel is a bit old. Breakfast was good. Be patient when you use the bathrooms- there was no water coming in the toilet which made things a bit slow. The best part is that the hotel is located at the centre of the city.
Restaurant was good, took my friends from Imphal we were 20 ppl, i hope they didn't mind the noise we were making... I guess they were happy to after we paid close to 15k

Had a very pleasant stay. The cottage is very well maintained and furnished. Rooms were neat and clean. The owner of the property,Mr Darell is very soft spoken and helpful. Overall the stay was very cozy. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely stay at this property. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was top notch. Indian, khasi food and continental. Did not use the pool. But was looked very nice. Had great drinks and dinner at poolside bar.

You will actually feel like you are staying at home. I have visited Mawlynnong 3 times and every time I stayed in this homestay. Superb neat and clean place with decent basic eating options nearby.
