I have visited this hotel multiple times primarily to use the restaurant. However, on several occasions I have booked rooms for friends and associates and they have all given positive feedback on the rooms. The rooms are spacious and neat. The food in the restaurant is of good quality and the service is wonderful. Overall I have never felt disappointed with this place.
Old world charm. Located adjacent to pinewood hotel. Walking distance from Ward lake and police bazar. Spacious rooms however I think furnishings need urgent renovation. The restaurant is OK. But a little expensive. Breakfast is good. Overall a nice experience.

Excellent hotel in an equally beautiful and peacefull surrounding, about 1.2 Kms from Police bazaar Shillong, 200 mtrs after Hotel Pinewood and 600 mtrs from Ward's Lake.
The hotel has a very beautiful garden in front with swing, chairs and table for enjoying lunch, snacks and dinner. In the evening it's well light. The restaurant is well stocked and food is tasty but slightly over priced. Staff are very polite, efficient and helpful.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. The bed is king size double bed. Toilet is very clean. Rooms are provided with tea-coffee maker, TVs which have most of the popular channels.

Had a very pleasant stay. The cottage is very well maintained and furnished. Rooms were neat and clean. The owner of the property,Mr Darell is very soft spoken and helpful. Overall the stay was very cozy. Highly recommended.
