Rooms are good and the service is exceptional. Really loved the management there, everyone I met were really kind and helpful. Normally I prefer to have food outside as the taste is not that great, but here the taste was simply superb. The fish curry is just sooo good. I would highly recommend this place.
Hotel Mangalam is the best hotel for staying in Kolkata. Love the ambiance and loved each and everything about the hotel. Rooms are compact. Bathroom could have been bigger. Hotel staff are decent and Kind. Location is good. Price could have been a bit low. I did not park my car here, so i am not sure about how big the parking space is.
Filthy place, had to sanitizer every surface, the room n bathroom are tiny, sheets were dirty on day 1 till I got them changed There is no place to place a suitcase. Noisy all night due to proximity to other establishments. Toilet paper was too close to toilet and bath area...it hadn't been changed for months I guess. Had pee stains. The room service though was better. Chicken sandwich n omelette were fine. Won't go there again. There were 6 to 7 of us women there and all of us were unhappy.

I have been going to this hotel for vacation, medical tours and solo for 7 years now. The consistency in their service is deteriorating, especially after the pandemic. Their foods are not worth the price based on taste. Their rooms are comfy, however, they could use some cleaning. The experience is always good, but when you come here for 7 years, you would expect some extra friendliness to say the least.
