I went Pondy with my clg mates to spend the weekend . I had a good time with my frnds . And it was a wonderful stay. Since the Oyo rooms are near to beach we can go for beach in late nights. Overall we had a pleasant stay. I recommend this place for bachelors especially.
Property person is fraud, I made a ac room booking for my customer and that room he had given to other person, when I spoke he told me it's a system error you over booked same thing I conveyed to oyo help desk when oyo guest experience manager spoke he told ac is not working. Now when I again cald him he said there is non ac room available if you want I'll block vl give you in lesser price after customer reached there he doubled the rate and finally guest faced real bad experience.
Hotel location in Tamilnadu and Pondicherry border so check post very near to hotel entry. Slight mistake taking incorrect turn can land us Check post checking and invite trouble specially with liquor.
Hotel doesn't have parking place
Food have to go outside no room service.
Nearby beach not properly maintained not suitable for family. Can find empty liquor bottles and no cleaning.
