Forest Inn resort is located few kms from mainaguri surrounded by forest and in picturesque location. We happened to be there by chance on 31st night and our trip turned out to be far more satisfying then expectations. It's a beautiful property, well kept and well tendered. Though only few rooms are above average. Service is too good and staffs are well mannered. Food quality is above average. The bathrooms are a bit disappointment. Overall the property is well recommended for its location, greenery, well mannered staffs and not so bad fooding. The exterior of the resort is definitely the xfactor.
This Property is still under construction, They have spent a lot on this property,But have spent tastelessly. Management is good. But need more development to get back the visitors. I will never go back to this property. This property is in the middle of a Jungle village, need more signage for the tourists to easily identify the spot. Have to develop in the food quality also, Service is excellent but need more activities to get back the customers.
Cottages are well decorated with woodwork, rooms are good in size..but TVs are old.. Dining hall has an interesting decor. Peaceful area, but remote location.. approach road is poor.. near forest but not adjacent to it. Maintenance needs improvement. Available facilities are limited.. there is no shop nearby.. so remember to bring your necessary items. Food was good.
Lovely ambience, extremely helpful staff and special mention to the cooking department- the food, the diner and the management was great! Cottages were comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the stay very much!
Good food, decent rooms, at moderate prices. Peaceful atmosphere although a bit remotely located...staff behaviour excellent... overall happy stay
We stayed at the Resort from Dec. 19. to 20. This is a very strange Place! First we could not find it whith Google Maps, because it's located at the wrong place. It is actually situated at Lataguri-Kalipuri-Lataguri- Ramsai Rd. Then the owner claimed, he did not recieve our online booking and that we have to pay cash and not trough OYO... Apart from that he was pretty unfriendly, charget us moore than we would pay with Booking app. Furthermoore, the Hotel was empty. I recomend to avoid the Place! Peter and Jessi Switzerland
It was a wonderful experience, owners and stuffs are really nice. Chefs was really good. Few rooms needs maintenance. But overall nice. It is bit expensive though.
1) Best place to experience Gorumara National Park 2) A little congested arrangement of Cottages, but rooms with good facilities. 3) Experience the forest from the complex. 4) Interaction opportunities with Forest Villagers. 5) Advantage of being close to the meeting point of Murti and Jaldhaka rivers.
A nice place...plenty of greenery..nice initiative to make a butterfly garden which in turn helps to maintain the food chain. Medla watch tower is just beside, one can see Rhinoceros , elephants from here, option of butterfly releasing in open air i
