Good and peaceful stay. Neat and clean rooms and toilets. Daily cleaning. Manager and all staffs are well spoken. Food is simple but works for amount you pay. Construction is still going on so some of parts of entire compound is full of materials otherwise they try to keep the place clean. Very near to Sonajhuri haat(walking distance). I would love to see they produce their own vegetables during winter and serve those to residents and visitors. They should keep TV (if not in room) atleast in common area like dinning hall. I had to leave one day early due to some office work that is my only regreat. Enjoy your stay.
Good Place if you want to visit Shantiniketan it's a good place to stay and enjoy you stay ! It's has a food place to it too ! It's great ! Good experience and employee were nice too ! But only downside is you have to travel a lot to visit all the places in Shantiniketan if you use TOTO as a mode of communication you have a pay a hefty amount everyday else if you have a car it's gonna be fine for you !

"valobasa" itself suggests its name and it really deseves it. Peaceful and healthy atmosphere with caring people around. Love, affection and cultural aura fill the the place.

This hotel's manager or the owner does not take online booking. However they list themselves on travel sites like MMT. Had a bad experience when we tried calling them for booking enquiry. Rude behaviour . Basically they do not know how to speak to customers. I will not visit such places and I advice others to be careful about the place. If they do not know how to talk to prospective customers, then I do not not know what kind of experience will be while staying .
It is situated on the lap of nature which is too much attractive. It is expanding hand to give company to the lonely and elderly persons. Good social initiative.
