OYO 3676 Hotel Sai Sandpiper - Hotel in Puri - Puri, India

This hotel will provide you with a calm and quiet stay away from the crowd of Puri. Located behind Birla Guest House, this hotel will give you a cozy stay with good quality home cooked food. The view of the beach from the terrace room is fantastic. You will really enjoy staying here mostly because of the behavior of the staffs.

Good rooms. Tasty food with very affordable price. Around 300 m from sea beach. It's walkable. Great hospitality. Always ready to serve you with smile. Pocket friendly. I have visited this place second time.

Not on sea beach, buy less than 2 minutes walk from the beach. Here in the beach you will get chairs (Rs.20 per hr) to seat and to enjoy the environment. Water scooters are also available (Rs. 500 per trip of about 10 minutes). Auto stand is just opposite to this hotel. Food is little costly. You will get roti in two to three nearby shops in the night. You may also buy paper utensils in a shop opposite to the hotel. The hotel is newly renovated and is good and the manager Mr. Subrath Kr. Pandale is a nice person.

It felt like I am in my home. Staff behaviour was super well behaved. The rooms were neat and tidy.

Staying in this hotel at present. Service boy behaviour and service both are great. But question lies with the hotel manager. He is rude and arogant. Provided us room at 8PM in the night that too at a much higher price than the OYO rate, taking double room rent from the previous customer as well as us, but rudely asked us to leave the room at their mentioned checkout time 7AM without compensating the delay in providing room. The manager is not at all bothered about the same and forcing us to leave because he has already booked the room for someone else. He is taking price 1900 for a room whose price is much less for OYO. Moreover the rooms are damp, stinking, AC not working properly, rain water flowing all over the room. Please give a second thought before availing this hotel.

Very Good rooms. Neat and clean. The behavior of the staff is really warm and helpful. They even have a tourist desk whose rates are lower than market rates. Moreover the Restaurant they have, have very tasty food and very neat and hygenic. The hotel is just behind Birla Guest House (which is sea facing). The sea is visible from the balcony. I liked my stay there.

The linen is not cleaned and there are way too many mosquitoes in the hotel. The staff doesn't take any measures for the mosquitoes. I had booked a room for 2 nights but I couldn't sleep at night due to the mosquitoes. I checked out the next day. Food is good though hence, 1 star only for the food.

Worst hotel u could ever book to stay.... We booked the room online they provided us the photo of the room which was actually clean and tidy... We were 5 ppl together they said they will give us a room in the top floor... We had paid 1500rs in advance and the cost of the room was 2200rs.when we reached there. The hotel was actually different from what they have shown very very dirty the staffs were so untidy they have split all over the place they said that their room is on the fourth floor but actually the room was on the terrace. The room had damp all over it lights not working I actually got a shock from one of the switch board. It had the smell of cigarettes and beers all over the room. The worst thing I experienced was at night when I came back to the hotel from the beach I saw just outside my room 5-7 men were sitting and drinking smoking and doing what not.. The terrace was dirty to no extend having all beer bottles around. The Manager was extremely arrogant when we said that we would checkout the room he argued with us to pay 3500rs.When we asked to change the room he denied. The worst ever hotel in puri just waste of money. We just regretted being there. In fact I left my sunglasses in the reception they took away the glasses and didnot even bother to return. Never ever go to this hotel cz the hotel staffs will drink outside ur room in such a manner that u can't evn go out of ur room. Later we got to know from one of the locals over there that all this is very common in this hotel infact the locals also can go and access the terrace to drink. Worst hotel... Really untidy hotel.
