OYO 3619 Samayaa Resort - Hotel in Gangtok - East District, India

Visited this amazing hotel in October, 2016 . The manager and the whole hotel staff were very amiable and helpful. The room was spacious and very beautiful with breathtaking views from the windows. The beds were comfortable too . The food was nice too. Since its nearby M.G. Marg, so it also aids to your midnight food cravings. Overall, I loved the hotel, specially its location .

Family of four. We stayed at Samayaa for straight 4 days. I want to thank Vicky bhaiya for one of the finest hospitality ever. It was by far one of the greatest experience. Food was really tasty and more over all the staff members are really caring. My sister had her birthday on 30th June and they even celebrated that. I am writing this review after a long time but that out of the way effort still reminds me of that stay.

Enjoyed our stay at Samayaa. The property is very nicely built with spacious rooms having mesmerising view of Gangtok valleys. The staff is very humble and always on the toes to help. The only thing that needs to be worked upon is the food, especially the breakfast. I feel there should be more options in breakfast as most of the hotels these days offer.

Nice place at decent cost. Rooms are big, spacious and neat.Breakfast was complimentary but needs improvement. Not like a standard hotel.We were offered all paratha/Puri and bread for all 3 days. Also , one more issue is breakfast is served late not before 8:30 am. At tourist place where to reach at near by places , we need to travel a minimum of 2 hours , this delay is not something most people appreciate.

Very bad room service. I stayed there for 4 nights but it was not clean even once. I asked to change the bedsheet At least 10 times then on last day that changed it. Very poor WiFi. Actually it's not available in room. The most ridiculous thing was there was no flush in toilets. When I asked to repair they said it's because of water problem they are not repairing the flush. Very noisy at night. And for kids it was a problem because at night there was a lot of smell of alcohol and cigarette. And the person sitting at reception asked to adjust I I am complaining. No one has paid u for adjusting. The only good thing was the behaivour of one housekeeping boy. He was always with a smile. Personally me or anyone of our group will never stay here again.

There was no electricity whole night on our 1st day the electricity came directly in the afternoon even when all other nearby hotels have the electricity. Even there was no water in for bathing same problem happened on 2nd day as well. When asked for water to bath they were not able to provide even mineral water bottles. Even the walls have water marks and fungus in bathrooms as well in the room.. Very poor service Not at all recommended to stay there.

Recently I have stayed here on 22nd and 23rd May'19 along with family. Good Rooms with very good hill and scenic views from the room in the rooms where we stayed. Just for room view only I have given 3 star. Other wise totally mis-managed hotel shortage of staffed,very average food, dis-organised breakfast arrangements in morning multiple foods not available for long time even many items are not provided later,peoples waiting in long queue like ration shop.We didn't had breakfast on last day looking at the scenerio.During our check in day they were unable to provide food from the hotel as they don't have chef or cooks for few days as guided by them we took food from beside restaurant Sikkim Retreat-very very good food and very tasty and value for money and good hospitable staffs. One of towels provided in rooms was in torned condition poorly maintained wooden cupboard only 1 towel provided in room later we asked for one more.They suppose to provide us a candle light dinner on 23rd May'19 which they unable to manage as we are tired in sightseeing journey we told manager Vijay to arrange the same quickly he told that until all guest complete meal there he will unable to arrange the candle light dinner.As we are tired I told him to get it arranged at my room only he said fine and still provided the food 1 hour late by a server.I was assuming that they will bring candle and give us the feel in my room only,but no candle no wishes from the manager just food sent to the room and that also as said earlier very average tasting food. my thoughts of having candle feel all gone in toss.

Very good hotel. So cleaned and we'll maintained. Luxurious rooms and very good room services. Manager and staffs are so cool and we'll behaved. They serve Delicious food.
