The room was so-so. The reception and all were nice. And by nice I mean the interaction was not "awkward". If you are a couple then you can debut your OYO experience with Step In. And yes the food was good. P.s. There was a broken tea table. I guess bengalis are getting wilder.
This guest house is located in ruby area particularly in tagore park . The staffs are good and pretty helpfull . Rooms are clean but lacks decent space. This property need a immediate infrastructure update. The bathroom door lock was broken in my room. The basin tap was rotating 360, commode covers were broken. Even the ac was not working properly the temps reading was fluctuating between 21-24. Appart from this the overall stay was decent.
I have always Preferred Step Inn Guest House since 2017.They are one of the best among all the OYO's nearby KASBA. Both their food and hospitality was SUPERB! I love it.. Couples can have a visit over there once and am sure they will really appreciate STEP INN's norms and resulations!
Staff service is slow. Was given room no 402. AC vent was broken. The rack of TataSky set top box was broken. Weird smell in the bathroom. Disliked the procedure of asking for advance payment before stay when the Oyo app itself allows payment anytime during the stay. But staff were very polite and courteous.
Very bad service. Small rooms, WiFi is not working. Location is not so good. Security issues are there. Staffs are not friendly. Food is good. They will keep original id card till check out. Pathetic service. Not recommended at all. I repeat don't waste your money here. I wanted to give "Zero" rating because they don't deserve any rating.
ROOM IS BEST AND THE SERVICE WAS ALSO GOOD,I ENJOYED BUTTER PANEER IT WAS TASTY ,HAVE ATRY.THE BATHROOM AND EVERYTHING WAS NEAT AND CLEAN.SIZE OF THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE AND THEY PROVIDE PURIFIED WATER. LOCATION WISE ALSO ITS GOOD NEAR TO BUS STOP AND RESTRAUNTS .I ENJOYED MY STAY
Though it's a bit far from City center it's really a place with hospitality. Very calm area. Rooms and beds are very clean. Staffs are very cordial and helpful. The breakfast they serve is also good. Recommend.
Except for the courteous staff it's not worth the money. OYO rates it at 4* but not true. It's not worth the money we pay. Complimentary breakfast is not sufficient at all. Please be careful because oyo gives it as 4-star
