One of my worst experience staying in a hotel in Kolkata. Bizzare environment, staffs.. you always feel unsecure. One incident which shocked me is : I locked my room and went out for a work , the waiter asked me when I was returning, I replied, by evening. My work was over soon and I returned back to the hotel, to my surprise I saw a boy and a girl coming out of my room which had all my luggages, money etc etc inside. I was literally SHOCKED. How can someone access my room which is locked and had all my belongings?? The next moment I took all my belongings and left , booked another hotel in Newtown area. This doesn't deserve a single star.
This is a fraud hotel and the company oyo is a cheater. I booked this hotel on 17.01.2020 via Oyo paying 288. My booking was the next day on 18.01.2020. I was supposed to pay the remaining amount on the spot. When i reached the spot they said that they have not received any booking and the no room is empty. When i called OYO it said it's showing that i already checked in. So please don't book this OYO. It's not safe even. Seeing all these i went out. I claimed for my refund and will do the necessary needful.OYO is also denying it too. The worst hotel ever seen
I booked @rs 700 but when I go for check in they asked for more money. I called oyo they don't help me. Also the hotel quality was poor. So I have to cancel the booking. Oyo charged me extra money for another booking. Hate this hotel. 0 star not book this hotel.

Rooms are small but clean. It has food order facility. Staff are quite familiar. u can get cab and taxy below the room . It's near to Victoria memorial about 5km.
Royal Calcutta Guest House is beside the bridge and beginning of Meher Ali Road.It is peaceful and pleasant.Aakash institute is very near to it so many students stay in this guest house and take there coch for neet exam.Bangladesh high commission is near it.
