One of the best hotel at this price point, along with there staff service. Rooms are clean and staff behavior is very good. Location wise walking distance from Biswa Bengla Sarani. A recommended hotel if you are looking for stay on that area.

Location- If you want to stay at peace and soothe atmosphere then this place is for you. As this place is located 1.2 km inside from Bishwa Bangla gate and that gate is located on a busy route of the New Town area.

Room- As I stayed there for two nights, I felt very comfortable. All basic amenities were there in good condition. You can enjoy a neat and clean room with two big windows.
All over my experience was fantastic. Very few hotel on oyo is good on every aspect. Alankaar guest house is one of them.
Extremely unprofessional attitude. Just because we paid online, they refused us at the time of checking in!!! Trusted them reading the oyo reviews. Now i understand how fraud #oyo is!!! They even deducted my 340 rs at the time of refund. Don't even think to stay at this hotel.
I liked the place, it's very homely, staff is attentive and helpful,the place was very neat, the rooms are spacious, had all amenities, two almirahs, with a comfy sofa and table, it's in a posh and safe area, ubers are available readily at one click.Its in New town area,so stay assured about the safety ,this area has security cam all around the locality.
Best affordable and hygienic hotel I have ever visited... Perfect amenities and clean rooms.. staff members are too good.. and available for any help you need.. they are disciplined... The foods given to us was really good because they have their own kitchen so you can get your food on time.. simply perfect
Believe me these guys are running scam.I did online booking on Oyo I reached at 11 pm night from Howrah station,they didn't allow me to enter the room, first they said whatever OYO will say we will follow that then they started putting blames on OYO before they said to do separate booking offline and pay 1000rs,I denied that because I believe in correct procedure and they were continuosly putting useless blames on OYO.
Then I did another booking of next day to check which they were ready to accept first then they denied to accept when they came to know I am the same person. And the owner was just making excuses to hide the real thing & politically correct, "saying sab ke liye OYO zimmedar hai ".His words were "idhar se right lo left lo ,woh rasta hai ". My fault was online booking. Pathetic people, Pathetic behaviour towards guest.
I will never suggest it.
