OYO 26893 Grand Sirmaur Chamba - Hotel in Chamba - Tehri Garhwal, India

Such a pathetic service, non-cooperative staff. We had booked a room here at 2pm & when we arrived the property at 8pm they denied check-in claiming that all rooms are full. We were given no intimation regarding our booking denied. First of all when we reached the property there was nobody at the reception & the hotel seemed shut down. But when we called out for someone after a while somebody came up to us & said it on our face that the hotel is booked. We looked like fools at that point who had made advance booking & to experience this down graded service at this time in the night.

Worst hotel, Worst Staff, Cheater. You can't trust that you will get stay in the hotel even after your confirmed booking. I made a booking of 2 rooms for 4 people online through MakeMyTrip, and when we reached to the hotel then they didn't allow us for check-in. All the staff members including owner of the hotel were very rude and unprofessional; they even don't know how to talk with the customers. They all were, abusing badly, arguing with us and saying we'll not give you check-in on any cost. It doesn't matter to us if you have confirmed booking, we are not going to give you stay here. Then we called on support number of MakeMyTrip for this concern and discussed with them for the resolution. Change of the hotel and location at 8 o'clock in night was not possible for us as weather was very cold outside the hotel at that time in Chamba. We requested to MakeMyTrip support team to provide us the stay, and they tried their best to convince the hotel staff, even they were agreed to pay more amount to the hotel for this booking. But the guy who was sitting on reception was not agreeing to give us check-in, just because of his ego and misbehavior we all suffered a lot, even this incident ruin our trip completely. After a lot of discussion with hotel staff and MakeMyTrip support team for more than 2-3 hours in night we decide and agreed to cancel our booking, because there was no other option to us. Really this was first and very bad incident for all of us, they people don't deserve any business and even no one want to accept the booking of OYO in most of the locations. I would recommend to everyone don't go for this hotel if you want a comfortable stay. Try to find some other property in Chmaba, they are worst.

Place is good, hotel is not giving good services, pic of room shown in Web site was not matching with actual, room had no TV also. Food Quality was poor. It is OK to stay over night....... Below pic was featured in their site but actual one was too poor

It is a great hotel to stay with your family. A good staff with a touch of Uttarakhandi culture.Hotel has nicely furnished rooms equipped with gysers,led tv,etc.

Everything was superb,room was very spacious,service was excellent,Mr Negi was very helpful.

The worst hotel you can experience. The rooms are so smelly, toilets are in worst condition and the staff is pathetic. And top of that you will not get a bill with GST.

No proper staff or amenities , seems due to not much guest. better stay at kanatal or dhanaulti.
