OYO 2538 Gulmohar Regency - Hotel in Indore - Indore, India

The hotel is ok & rooms can range from average to nice. If you are booking through OYO please keep in mind that you should try to pay them in cash at reception & not online else they won't give you room even if they have rooms empty. Well that's a definite nuisance for sure. There are certain things which needs to be settled between the hotel & OYO but we as customers become the worst victim of such issues. The reason from their end is OYO hands over the money to the hotel in a time period of 1.5 -2 months which is quite a long wait for them that's why they prefer cash in hand. So beware of this whenever you are doing a booking in this hotel via OYO. The lift does work but the doors of the lift are kind of weird and you have to manually open or close it , I mean there is no automatic lock for any of the two doors. So if someone keeps it open even by an inch the lift won't move. Rooms are ok but not clean always because they don't have the number of cleaning staff to expect cleaning up to the mark but the cleaning staff will knock your room everyday to clean your room & bathroom. At that time you have to make sure they clean it properly & ask for whatever necessary amenity is missing. Like I had the doormat missing in front of bathroom so I had to separately ask for that. The cleaning staff is not that sincere even after the manager shouting on them like the usual trend we see in most of the people who are not sincere to their work. Make sure you make them do the cleaning properly under strict supervision. Last but not the least try not to opt for ROOM NO 107 on reception floor. That room has all it's windows opening to the corridor as well as reception. Although you have curtains in the room but if someone wants to peek in from outside they can get a view of something or the other through the gap between the curtains so your privacy is kind of compromised. That room should have served as a store room. These are small issues which add up to a nuisance but if taken care the rooms & the hotel has a good potential ahead. I will say the hotel is not bad at all but not too good or completely satisfactory. It's located just opposite to platform -4 of Indore BG station that adds on to the convenience to find it as well as for stay.

This hotel is old style needs immediate renovation. Yet I think it deserves 4 stars for - nearness to railway station (takes just a minute from platform no. 4) - cordial and helpful staff (they are ready to help you anytime, with a smile ) - tasty food (try the parathas and hot tea, yes they have good options on menu - I've tried Paneer butter masala, dal fry , jeera rice...) For the hotel owner - sir pls renovate it asap, needs attention to cleanliness , the bathroom needs more attention.

Worst experience! Had a confirmed and reconfirmed OLA booking. Reached after midnight since flight got delayed. They had already sold my room. Told me to go and search some other. Finally after much pressing, gave me a dirty room. Blanket was smelly. Toilet stinking. WiFi not working. Room was supercold. Toilet door does not close. Horrible experience.

Horrible hotel even for a night stay. Rooms were stinking of cigarettes smell. Room paint were peeling off. Bathrooms were too small that you can't even move yourself. Bed sheets were dirty and smelling. Pillows were not clean and covers not changed. Electric points were old and dirty. No hot water on bathroom. We were told that they are using solar to hear for water and waiting for sun to raise to boil water. What nonsense to pay in such hotels. Owner should shut this hotel and go home. Room service was late and waiter forgot to get one dish which we ordered. Please have mercy on yourselves and your loved ones not to stay in such hotels.

I stayed here for 2 days. My husband checked in earlier than me. When I checked in the person on the reception told that only if the Id cards match we will allow. My husband told them that we are showing icards before u asked, so first look at the I cards and then comment anything. After that the room were horrible, dirty.we had to ask them to change the linen aalso.while leaving he asked us that he has to check something on the oyo app and took our mobile and gave rating of 5 on his own. Plz don't visit this hotel.

Hotel is fine room is fine not as shown in pics . The staff is also good . But they force u to fill the good review in front of them . As the breakfast is complementary but they will not come and ask you for breakfast you have to call them .. .. lift was not working i have to use stairs .. A.C in room is not cooling so much it is working so slow ... Bedsheets were also nkt changed .... Hair wash and moisturizer will be given by oyo ....

No parking was available. Phone in room was not working. Online payment was not accepted manager was saying only cash is accepted. I still can't understand why manager asked me for my mobile & started to give rating on same hotel. Why was he so much insisting to rate by his own it's not at all accepted.

Worst experience. Room was not clean. Bathroom was very dirty. Bedsheets were dirty. So many mosquito in the room. Never go with pics. It seems they just renamed lodge into hotel. Oyo should check the standard before giving his name. You are spoiling your brand name.
