OYO 2443 Hotel Opera Residency - Hotel in Chennai - Chennai, India

Very well located to begin with. Most nice places around are in walking distance (like Besant Nagar beach) or a short ride away (like Adyar) I was there for work and stayed four nights. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Shankar was attending to me and he took especial care of me! While they don't have their own kitchen, they source a very good breakfast. Many nice local as well as fine dining places are located in the vicinity. Overall a great experience!

A very decent and economical hotel to stay near Adyar. The staffs are good mannered and courteous. Do not expect 5-star level comforts, however, the rooms are neat and well maintained. I stayed for 3-4 days and felt very comfortable. I would recommend especially for solo travelers and not so for families. Be informed that, the hotel does not have a restaurant nor a coffee shop... ...and I stayed before the OYO branding.

It is hard to find reasonably priced budget hotels in Chennai. Opera Res. is one of the few. I like the location in Adyar / Besant Nagar area, about equal distance from the airport and Chennai Central. It is in walkable distance to sea (not a short walk). My single room was clean, and good size for a single room. The hotel manager was very helpful. He went out to change money for me. The metered taxi he arranged to the airport was cheaper than I expected. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.

Opera Residency hotel manager as well as other staff behaves very courtesies and politely. Decent, neat and clean hotel. Bathroom neat and clean. well maintained. small rooms but ita okay. Safe for family people. I stayed in single for 3 days. I have managed my food outside. A.C. was good.Manager Mr. Abbas was very helpful.

The Single room I stayed was very well maintained. Had an Air Conditioner and TV with Cable. The Washroom was very neat(unlike other hotels in the price range) but, does not have a Restaurant inside(although you can order food and will be brought from nearby restaurants). Has a flexible 24 hours checkin-checkout facility. Situated very near to Besant Nagar Bus Terminus and at walkable distance from Elliots Beach(ideal for an early morning walk on the beach enjoying sunrise).

Very bad room. What's bad you ask. Leaking washbasin. ac dripping directly to bed. Non working phone. Have seen cockroaches in bed and centipede in bathroom. No towel change. Unfortunately I am presently staying there. Good news is I'm checking out today. I'd no other option but to choose this one due to the proximity to my business area.

Its a decent budget hotel provided nice services, friendly staffs and good location.Its near by Besant nagar beach.And nice restaurants in walkable distances. I booked this through goibibo where I got a very cheap deal for an AC room. Rooms are very neat, clean and hygenic. Good place for staying with family and business trips. Worth for money.

I want to give the stars in negative. Very bad hotel, and even worst the staff. Thankfully booked only for a day And wasted 10 hrs of life. (Only stayed in the hotel for those hours) The staff should be fired immediately. There is no parking. But while booking they said parking is available. And lastly. If you book by oyo. Then it means nothing.
