OYO 24347 Hotel Sunrise View - Hotel in Rameswaram - Ramanathapuram, India

Today we had no option as we didn't booked hotel in advance. As we approached for room , receptionist gave room as we vacate room in few hours and charged 1000 rs and he didn't gave any receipt too. Tv is not working after complaining they just said it will not work . Only best part is very near to temple .

Room was ok , but after 5pm there was no water supply till 7am morning ,looked like they intentionally stoped water supply bcz there was no one other than us in the hotel , AC got shut down and after complain the AC got repaired after 3 hours , very bad service

Overall a very bad experience... Won't recommend if you are looking for comfort, and not worth the amount they are charging...! There is two type of problems related to this property: first locality and second, the management...! There is one advantage too: and that's locality...! Bit confused...Let me elaborate...! Only advantage of staying here is that it's in front of the Eastern Gopuram, the main gate and very close to Agni Teertham. If I talk about problems there are a lot many. The most important is location. To understand this problem have a look at the screenshot of g-map I have attached here. In the screenshot you can see I have drawn a red line around the temple, on that road no autos are cars are allowed. It means if you are booking this hotel or any other around the road, you can't reach there on four wheeler. You'll have to carry all of your luggage to the hotel. Commuting would become very difficult if you are planning to explore other places in Rameshwaram, again you'll have to walk till western gate catch the auto there. All of this pain faints the benefit of being in front of the temple. Now talking about the management. It was horrible. Room conditions were very bad. Choose one on the first floor in the last after having look into many rooms. Still pillows were very dirty, had to request them to change. Doors in balcony needed a really hard push to open. Thanks AC was working. Bathroom was really in bad situation. Dripping of water all time, a very annoying thing. Not even a single hook inside bathroom to hang your towels, had to hang all on the shower. Toilet-handpress was dangling on the broken soap tray. In the morning, there was no water. We had to wait till 7:30 to use it. Manger/Owner behave in bossy way. He has no idea how badly his behavior is affecting his business.

worst experience. I want to give 0 stars but there is no option. I checked in to the hotel on 4th Dec in the morning. initially, they allotted a room on the ground floor. the room was full of dents, a bad smell, and no ventilation. the main thing was there was no water in the bathroom. the staffs were unsupported and unresponsive. they told that water will come in the afternoon. we went for Darshan in the Rameshwaram temple and returned hotel at 3 pm. I asked for changing the room. they allotted a room on the first floor. there also the water was not available. the window was also broken. since morning we were not able to fresh properly. therefore we checked out of the hotel room. 1. no water2. dirty room3. no ventilation4. unresponsive staff5. no proper maintainence of hotel rooms.

this hotel is very pleasant stay to stay and it is very near temple just opposite to temple I booked it for one day for four members. very convenient to see the temple and sea. room also very neat and clean and spacious room and toilet also have convenient space. rooms are very neat and clean. but car parking facility is not there but don't worry they will arrange some alternative arrangement. morning sunrise View is available. we went to their early morning 1 a m they will support that time also before we informed that we will come very late. this hotel is suitable for family friends others also very nice hotel thank you

This hotel is just Infront of the Rameshwaram temple, but it's not accessible by car. This area is very much crowded with devotees all the time. After parking the car at a pay n park about half kilometre distance, we had to walk with luggage through a big crowd to reach here.. The room offered here is not as per standards. AC is good(they added this recently it seems) and that's the only good!. Window curtains are pathetic. No towels or glasses in the room. Linen provided is not clean. We feel like we are in a 1 star lodge. Bathroom was average. This hotel is mainly for devotees not for tourists

Stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Sunrise view. We reached early & couldnt check in early as rooms were not vacant. The hotel staff was polite & humble. Not satisfied with the cleanness of the bed sheets & even the blankets were torn & stinking. Bathrooms were clean though. The best advantage is its just opposite to the temple & 2-3 mins walk to the Sea. You get amazing Sea view from the roof top.

Stayed in room no. 206 Room and bathroom was pretty clean as of a budget hotel. But the sea view from balcony is not a proper sea view.Could not open the door as there are public toilets.But when you opt for AC room you don't need to open balcony door. AC remote was not working properly, because they have regulatory switches outside.But it is not troublesome. Very close to Ramnathswamy temple and Agneeteertham. My suggestion is book it if there is a good deal online. Pleasant stay.
