OYO 22837 Chairmen's Hotel - Hotel in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

Rooms are average, rooms have tv with no cable connection or set-top box, ac with no cooling or proper working condition. Bathroom flush not working properly, no hot water.

Hotel is good for short stays. The hotel has a bar attached to the building. The room I stayed was clean and well kempt. Giving the place 4 stars owing to the fact that food was served late. Also the hotel is at a place where there are no small tea counters nearby. I find it hard to believe that such a common thing like tea was being charged a lot inside the hotel. The bathroom was really good, there was hot water in the morning. It is a better option for people who are booking using OYO.

I don't know how so many good reviews are given to this hotel! The hotel staff in reception will not given pay attention to guest properly. I was taken to three rooms.. all the rooms were not cleaned properly.. the staffs were yelling at each other.. Bed and bed covers are poorly washed could find strains everywhere. Total unpleasant stay for me on 11 Jan 2019. They don't accept online payment..

I am fortunate that I have never stayed in Oyo rooms. but I wanted to give a free suggestion to Oyo management, that they should shut down the business. reasons:- 1. First of all, they have just one contact no to contact them. 2. You need to wait for your call to be picked 3. You should be ready to be put on hold if at all your call is picked 4. If at all your call is picked and kept on hold, you should be ready to behold for more than 20 minutes. 5. you should not be surprised if your call is dropped. I only felt that they oblige their customer by providing stay in their chain hotel. Those who wish to be obliged, can happily book the hotel and enjoy. Wish happy stay !!!

Complimentary breakfast was not good. There should be some option for north and east Indian food. Only Idly and idly type dhosa??? were given daily. Tea and coffe were also not good. Guest may have difficulty in eating daily these in break fast. These must be changed to accommodate guests from other parts of India and globe!! Similarly TV Channels also should be there for few HINDI and other regional channels. 98% were south Indian channels. Those may have been 70% local channels ( in this case south) and 30% may be others. Otherwise all were ok.

Full portion of soup is less than the size of smallest curry bowl at home. None of the food that I ordered was at all good. Tomato soup was thicker than cheap ketchup. It was more of a corn flour soup and chunks of corn flour was floating around. Returned almost everything that we ordered (more than half of the portion). See the attached image for reference and compare the size of the bowl with respect to the spoon and fork. In short, the worst restaurant experience in my life. Whomever had dinner with me had their stomach upset. Icing on the cake... They asked me to pay the bill after saying all this on face. :-)

I travelled all the way from Hyderabad and reached the hotel at 10.30 am. There was no one at the reception. I saw a housekeeping guy and asked him to call the receptionist. The reception guy came making some humming sounds. I told to my self not be judgemental and showed him the online payment and confirmation from OYO. He said that they don't accept online payments. I asked him then why was the hotel registered on OYO. He bluntly said "Don't ask me, ask OYO". He was adamant and said a room was available if I wanted to pay cash and check in. He further added that I would be allowed to checkin before 12 only if I pay 30% extra. Usually hotels allow early check-in without any cost if the room is available. OYO policy says that the hotel checking before 10 will be considered as early check-in and 30% extra is for that. Though the rooms didn't look that great in the photos, I chose this place because it was closer to the event venue that I had to attend Money-minded, impolite, unprofessional staff and utterly basic rooms.

Nice food options n tasty too, One of best in Kanakapura Road for now, melodious instrumental music in family hall.. Not yet visited roof top , visited on week day so very less crowded as it's opened 3 months back, as informed by hotel manager. Chairmens hotel Kanakapura Road will have Draught beer soon Happy partying!
