OYO 18759 Nirvana Guest House - Hotel in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

I don't know about the hotel but why this hotel doesn't share their own personal hotel number it's a nightmare to talk with this so call hospitality hotel booking service people made me wait for hours but didn't even provide a single information why in the first place your hotel has provide this calling option when it's useless and the behavior was so rude it feels like I was talk to a army general

Worst service not only for 1 reason. I have many reasons. We booked 2 hotels for 2 trips 4 months ago with partial payment. In the first hotel when after checking in we got to know there is no supply of water since 10 days in that hotel. In next hotel when we reached, the hotel manager told owner has been changed 3 months back and since then they are no more linked with oyo. I was with my family and our trip was in a hill station. When we contacted Oyo customer service to ask why we were not informed from their side, obviously they had no answer. We struggled for hours in search for just a room because OYO didn't help us. They just asked to cancel and get me booked a hotel in some other state. So please don't trust this OYO.

Nice place to stay and staff very cooperative, well behaved and polite. Rooms are spacious with very neat and clean attached washroom. Food quality is also good. They even do arrangement for Taxi if you want to visit some nearby places. Wi-Fi and room blower / heater services are also provided by them.

My worst 'hotel' stay ever ... Even after paying in full advance, I was given the left over spare rooms. Rooms were so small, giving the feeling of jail cell, paint had peeled off, no towels, no sanitizer, tv remote batt. were dead, no geyser. Rooms opened up at the reception, so no privacy. The manager was so rude, it was as if he was doing favour to us by giving accomodation. we had booked for 3 nights, but we checked out in 2 nights only. My personal suggestion, do not opt this & even if you plan to, check the rooms before you check-in or pay for reservation. 1 star because we some how managed our 2 nights stay as did not wanted to spoil vacation for the family. & 1 star for the 'Sweet Stud' guy who always had a smiling face

Amazing place . Management very good . Rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff also very good and polite. Bathroom is bit small but that's okay for the price of the room. Prices are reasonable. Easy to reach via Google maps. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Location is good , everything is available within walking distance . WIFI is also amazing, works great but mobile network is very bad here (jio ) . The view from the room is also amazing. Bathroom is very bad, water is leaking everywhere, the jet spray is not working , even water is leaking from there and the flush.

The receptionist was very irresponsible kind of person, he never sits at reception and doesn't picks the call. I tried to connect with him to guide me to the guest house and he didn't picked the call. The rooms were very small and very far from the city center so I'd say they are overpriced because you need to take taxi for the police baazar which costs 200Rs and you won't find amy normal shop nearby as well. Also Oyo services have been worse now, they took my booking with 4 guests, 1 room aand and after reaching there they denied the booking and I had to book another room.

Had an amazing stay here, it's a new property and has been kept extremely clean. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, the rooms were quite neat and spacious overall the standard of the hotel and the exceptional service from the staff was second to none. We were very pleased with their service. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone one who's looking for a good stay in Shillong. A true example of excellent hospitality.

Overall its a good hotel where you can stay with family. My experience can be summed up as: Advantage: 1. Views from hotel is stunning. 2. You can get along with local people and explore more. 3.Many small shops are around where you can buy packaged food and water. 4.Hotel is around 3 years old, hence infrastructure is good and well maintained. 5. Staffs are cooperative and help you in best possible way. Disadvantage 1. Its quite away from main town and you have to bargain a lot for getting a taxi or any kind of transportation means. 2.There's no good restaurant nearby and you have to rely on hotel food which is very expensive. 3.There's no 24*7 hot water facility. 4. Room that I have got was very small and suited best for solo traveler and not for a family. 5.They do not have parking facility. If you are travelling by your car, then call them in advance so that they can make some arrangement.
