Worst place ever in durgapur and the owner is completely illeterate With rude behaviour very greedy type of person only gives value for money sets his rooms rent according to coustomer's apperance never seen such a greedy owner of any hotel ever and very poor service and dirty rooms visiting to ananya guest house is just waste of money.....

Worst place to stay in Durgapur, owner's behavior is very unprofessional and rude. If you call them no one picks up call in one attempt. TV is there in room but it shows only 1 channel which is naptol, hangers are broken in bathroom, walls and ceiling has weird patches, wardrobe is dusty not cleaned, and when I asked for water bottle they filled old dirty bottle with tap water and gave it to me. Disgusting experience
Had an exam,so stayed for one night only...The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean...the staff is very friendly and the hotel is located at a prime location....close to many important spots...

This review is based on my experience today. Had a booking done from MMT for 13-14th August at Rs 471, the check-in time was 12pm, went early at 8:30am and tried to find out whether early check-in is possible. The gentleman at the reception, probably the owner denied the booking saying they are not associated with MMT or OYO anymore..!! Although he offered me a room at Rs800 offline. I called up MMT. The call was routed 2 times, explained the issue to 2 customer care executives, none could resolve the issue then, the only solution they could offer was they would be calling me in next 45 mins..!! Oh forgot to say, was raining heavily. So I took the offline room at 800 after paying 471 to MMT. I checked in and found that there was a free cancellation if cancelled before 12pm 13th August, so to avoid any further loss, I cancelled, as I had already heard the helplessness in MMT CCEs' voice. Now again a lady called me up from MMT a couple of hours later, and let me know the case has to be closed as I'd cancelled the stay, fair enough. Not sure whom to blame, MMT, the gentleman at the reception or my bad luck. The person at the reception was courteous, didn't stay more than 2 hrs in total, in order to write in details of the amenities present. No restaurant is there, but you can get eateries round that place. Good location. If you are reading this, I'm sure you have already come to a conclusion. "Always call the hotel before booking, to make sure WYSIWYG".
Ananya Guest House is located at a prime location in Bidhannagar area of Durgapur. It is a decent place for hosting small budget weddings, rice ceremonies, birthday celebrations and other small events. There are also a couple of clean AC or non AC rooms. There is no restaurant attached to this guest house but that won't be a big problem as there are many eateries nearby.
Worst online hotel booking experience it was, I booked a room of this guest house through MMT, got the voucher and the hotel receptionist too but he lied me that I have not got any voucher in my name. Unfortunately I was alloted another hotel after a bad time of 3-4 hrs. What I saw in that little time was really shoking, there were just 2 staffs handling the entire guest house. I would not suggest anyone for online booking of this guest house.
