OYO 16835 Stayotel Kolkata Airport - Hotel in Kolkata - 24 Paraganas North, India

Its a very nice hotel to stay either you are single, family or group. Cleanliness of hotel is really appreciable. Room size is smaller than average. The interior is amazing. However, on checking-in, the bed sheet and blanket cover found unwashed. However, the staff is cooperative and caring. No facility for wheel chair is available. Reception counter is very small, no space for waiting person is there. Lift is available for upper floor. Size of washroom is very small. The hotel is situated in a very narrow gali where, no four wheeler can enter in day time. The hotel has its own restaurant but the price of all the dishes are relatively high. So, suggest to have food outside of the hotel in any local or visiting restaurant

I have been here for my cousins reception and I found that the service guys were not doing the service properly. When I asked them for desert the guy in the counter was not supportive and specifically the service guys- I want to tell you something, serving food to someone is a great job, but don't do partiality in that and stop commenting on guests. I would request someone to brief their staff especially the one who serve in banquet Tulip.... Please not steal food items like cake from guests. I have found one incident so never ever repeat that in front of guests. And using cell phone please do not repeat it. Maintain your reputation. Just for few entire organization gets blame.

Excellent hotel- clean, polite staff, helpful and quick service, has a restaurant with 24 hour service. They provide a packed breakfast on request (as early as one needs it) and have airport drop. Extremely close to Kolkata airport, comfortable for families with kids.

Good property, pathetic front desk people !! Especially Front desk manager :- Sudip We were 45 travllers who booked 15 rooms, each room having triple occupancy. As we checked in at hotel around 2-3pm on Jan 23rd,2019. A lady front desk manager was attending us She was too arrogant and having triple occupancy she said around 6pm every room will get a extra bed . We went for sight seeing and we came back after dinner. It was around 11-11.30pm Mr.Sudip was at reception. We asked him extra bed are kept in all rooms ? His answer was " This isn't my duty, I don't have extra mattresses, shall I bring them from my home" We said it's triple sharing room & you have to give us extra bed . He said arrogantly I don't have and I can't give , Do what u want ! N he made us wait in lobby till 2am at night and was blackmailing that he will call police I have video recording of his behaviour with us at midnight and with time

Niceice amenities and the proximity to the airport makes it a great hotel. The service was also good. Morning Breakfast lacked variety but the taste was good. Bit overpriced for it's class and hence is a less value for money deal.

Mr. sudip Dutta reception manager misbehaved with me for asking a plate n spoon in the room. initially I asked for the same he denied, I called the room service he instructed them to denie. I asked to bye it for me he denied and then I lost my cool and argue with him, though I was bit drunk but not out of sense but the way he treated is not at all appreciated. he said do whatever you can. this is not the way to behave. they are not supporting for any cincern. this is my 2nd visit and the same thing happened. very unsupported hotel employee. sorry I am paying this much but very upset and will inform the same to each and everyone also in the website that this is the service you will get from this hotel staff. I am not going to have any dinner as there is no dish in my room and denied. we as customer can have no choice to select whether we should have food from inside hotel or outside as per our choicr and budget. but seems if you come to this hotel you have to do whatever your hotel wants to do. this is never acceptable. I don't want refund but I will never book anything from oyo. this is not acceptable and the way Sudip Dutta spoke to me in front of his colleagues is heart breaking. disgusting Thank you to oyo customer care then and there they provided me another property. But for this hotel I will never suggest any if my friend or colleagues to book this hotel for anytime. Very arrogant and miss behavior by Sudip Dutta. I can see the Mr. Adarsh Gauri is also mentioned about rude behavior of Sudip.

Hotel is well located near the airport. One can plan for short stays. Reasonably good restaurant. One should take care while calling Ola / Uber - takes time due to narrow street.

Good breakfast options, good a la carte in room dining. Pretty decently priced menu. Very good location for people who wanna commute to and from the airport itself.
