OYO 1493 Hotel Madhushrie - Hotel in Agra - Agra, India

No Amenities like, Parking problem, WiFi is not working, bathrooms are need to b service, actually there are very few amenities, comparatively they shown at time of reservation. Otherwise staff is very cooperative.

Worst experience I have ever had. Worst staff in the history of my stay in hotels. I had to get my room changed three times due to bad condition. Staff don't have any senses when/how to come in room. Even though giving right food order they call you over and over and then provide your food quite late. They didn't provide water properly to drink. Electricity was not there in the morning for almost 2 hours. Card machine was not working.I paid through phone pay. But receptionist asked me to wait till she verify payment through someone who was not picking up the call so had to wait for another 20 mins. If there are rating less than one then I will go for below that without giving it a second thought.

This is a really pretty place and the food is delicious. The service is fast and the ambiance is just so mesmerizing. I am adding pictures of the open roof top cafe and swimming pool. This is an awesome place to hang out at reasonable rates. Pool parties can be fun here. Also the rooms are great. I have had night stays here with my friends. They also have a live kitchen at the roof top cafe and the place is just awesome! PS: The cafe looks at it's best at night with the lighting :)

Well located on the other side of the Yamuna from the Taj, we booked this budget hotel to be near Mehtab Bagh so as to view the Taj from across the Yamuna. Secure parking, efficient & friendly reception & staff, decent rooms and toilet. We had a quick vegetarian lunch before heading out sightseeing. Food was good. Slept well without disturbance. Again a good buffet breakfast. Free wifi functioned efficiently

Basic cleanliness is there.. but could be a lot better. No hot water even in the morning. Some of the sheets had stains. Stayed there for 2 nights. The food at thikana is good but the morning breakfast is the same for the two days we were there. Towels were clean but everything else not so much..

I'm giving 2 stars for staff behaviour only, which was nice but as far as my stay at the hotel is concerned my overall experience was bad. Room was dirty,there was dust all over the place, sheets and pillow cover were also dirty as if they were not changed for a long time. No towels were provided. They didn't even provide drinking water(they did provided the water when i ask them). No hot water in the tap as my visit was on 31st of December. I was getting kitchen noise in my room. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Worst hotel management I have ever seen in my life. We booked the hotel for 3 days for a wedding, no water, no hygiene, no staff to serve in the rooms, worst receptionist. Recommend not to go for this hotel if looking even for a decent experience.

Stayed on 13th-15th Aug, in room 304. **. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The service and attitude of the staff was absolutely pathetic. Won't recommend anybody to book this hotel. My experience was so bad, that I have actually spent time to jot it down in detail to ensure nobody else goes through the same pain as I had to. Arrival at Reception : - When I walked into the reception and asked for my booking, the two guys at reception are busy discussing with each other that there are no rooms. They were nagging to each other as to why xyz Sir hasn't stopped * bookings yet. - Then they tell me there are no rooms, as they're fully booked, and that they're checking things at their end. - After 5 minutes they give me a room. Issues in the room : Day 1 : - I had booked a double bedroom for two, but there was a single-bed blanket and there were no sheets under the blanket. - We asked the reception to bring in a sheet for the blanket. After 3 follow up calls, they finally bring in a sheet. The sheet was wet and hence useless. Realizing that the reception guys are not exactly the benchmark in hospitality industry, I walked down to the reception myself and told them to provide a sheet for the blanket which is not wet. Some time later they send in another sheet, and this was not just wet, but dirty as well. - There was a window AC mounted on the wall at ventilator height. There was no AC remote provided and there was no way to switch off the AC as it was at a height. - There was no AC remote, so we asked the reception to send in one, the response we got was that there are no more AC remotes as the ones available are already given to the other guests. On further pushing, the reception guy tells me that the AC remotes have been stolen by the guests earlier so they don't have remotes. This has to be the most bizzare response I've ever got from any hotel. After 4 calls to the reception,* and after waiting in the queue for 11 minutes,* I get finally get the remote (* We then called in the restaurant and asked them to send in an omlette. When asked, plain or masala, we specifically told that we need a plain omlette. 3 follow up calls and 45 minutes later, the omletter finally arrived. The less said about the taste, the better. I was charged 145 INR for the omlette (the street vendors probably make a much better one, but lets not go there - there are bigger issues to take care of) - I paid around * for the room for 2 days, but the room provided to me was no where close to worth this amount. There were **** branded shampoo etc, I'm guessing this room doubles as **** at other times. - There was a used soap bar on the soap stand in bathroom. I guess expecting them to clean the toilet before handing over to the next customer is expecting a bit too much from them. - After facing so many issues, *Not willing to waste any more time at mid-night, I accepted this and went to sleep finally. Day 2 : - Next day, around noon, I called the housekeeping to clean my room, and they said that the housekeeping boys are out for lunch and he will send them once they're back. I gave the room keys to the reception desk, and asked them to clean the room, and left the hotel to attend to my business. We came back at 10pm, collected our room key from the reception, and went to our room. Guess what, the room wasn't cleaned yet. I called the reception and asked them to clean my room, the response - "We'll have to *see* if there's anybody from housekeeping available to clean the room". Having gone through this already a day before, I realized that this sort of response is normal for them. After a couple of follow up calls, finally the housekeeping guy comes in half an hour later and cleans the room, while we wait outside in the corridor. - When I returned back to hotel the around 10pm, there was a wedding event going on in the hotel. The entrance gate was closed for vehicles and when I asked the gatekeeper about parking, he asked me to park my car on the road. He said, once the wedding is over, I can park my car inside. The parking was doubling up as guest area. I thought, well I can't park my car on the road, so I'll have to stay awake until the wedding is over. Day 3 : - In the morning, there was no running hot water, and when I checked with reception, they said that there is no running hot water on the 3rd floor and they'll send in somebody with hot water. 4 follow up calls and 1 and half hours later, a guy comes in with half a bucket of water. We decided to just get out of here before it further spoils our vacation! Won't recommend this hotel to even my enemies.
