OYO 14706 Temple City Lake Inn - Hotel in Ayilangudi - Madurai, India

I stopped by at this Temple City (close to Toll) for lunch around 2 pm. Pathetic lunch (South Indian meals) and very poor service.

Tried few times. Car parking available and right before toll and U turn. When it's not crowded, they serve better and taste is good. When it's crowded like bus break, it's miserable with not so good service and inconsistent food quality like too much oil or something. Dinner is generally good and not very costly.

Good hotel although no service. Rooms are nice spacious, and clean but somewhat expensive. The check-out time is 12 hours (my gosh). And, room cleaning takes place on a number of request and may be tip also. A hotel at such outer place with no room service, such costly and with less support. Only plus that there is a good restaurant of the hotel for food. Overall satisfactory.

I usually dine in here for breakfast when drive to Chennai. taste is good. won't upset your stomach. decently priced food items. just 500 mts before the toll.

Meals is not good. -------------------------------- We ordered meals, In meals, Chapati and paruppu podi are super. But the default items, like parrupu, sambar, rasam and curd are worst... First as combo they kept lemon rice.. But it is very worst. I think Old oil they had used.. Finally orders fruit salad with ice..But it is also they same. The fruits used in it has rotten smell. We ate slightly,, But it is not good... WORST!!! WORST!!! WORST!!!.. The service is good. But the quality is not good.. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- While leaving I asked request them "Please don't spoil the good name of Temple city.." Dear Hotel, Please serve the good quality food.. Please Please... Consider It as my humble request.

Had breakfast here! Very good taste! Sambar bucket and 3 different kind of chutneys ( Coconut, tomato,puthina ) also 2 different type of idly podi! Kesari Sweet is a complimentary in breakfast! Good vegetarian hotel located just 1 km before to Madurai chittampatti toll plaza

Decent hotel . Food was good but service could have been much better. The staffs were not spontaneous enough to our requests. Would have been great if service was good as all orders took time .

We stopped by this place to have Jigarthanda, Paruthi pal & Karupatti kaapi. Its a good enough place to stand and taste the stuffs that I described earlier. The restrooms were decent and shops too. All the above stated tasted very nice and were of good quality. Fairly good enough place. Recommend it.
