OYO 13627 JK International - Hotel in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

Worst experience ever! The room was okay, but the staffs are so irresponsible. They can't take care of your luggage. I kept my luggage in the reception and they didn't even notice that someone took my luggage and took it almost to the border. I didn't get my luggage on my departure day. They promised to send me the luggage by courier, but you know how much they care once you leave.

Most of the hotels in Police Bazar are poorly maintained and dirty. JK international was no exception. However, I am not giving this rating just because of the filth. The behavior of the staff was absolutely horrible. It was a cold day so we politely asked for an extra blanket but the way they refused was simply rude. But this was not the low point of my stay. It was Christmas eve and I was strolling in the streets of Shillong. When I came back I saw that the shutters were down and locked and there is no one outside or at the reception. We had to keep banging on the door for half an our till midnight to wake them up. I don't think I have ever stayed at a worse place than this. Very dirty linens, floor, toilet and absolutely impolite staff.

Hotel location is good television not working hotel reception's behavior is very very bad and rude when I was staying in the hotel on that period, when we went to tour and side seeing I gave the room's key in the reception and then one day suddenly without my permission when I was not there, they opened our room and took a sofa cumbed and they also checked, touched and opened our suitcase and clumsy-ed our belongings. When I told this matter to the manager, after coming back the manager behaved with me very badly and rudely. I am very very disappointed with this hotel.

It's not OYO, now it's managed by a group of unruly & rude people of Bihar. Service is terrible, no kitchen, bathroom is nasty & no mineral water is served. We have to use the same towel & bedsheet for four days. Location is too good but Service is bad. I would not suggest any one to stay with family.

Everything is ok but they didn't provide mineral water. Rooms were neat and clean but after opening window we add bad smell to our room. At the end I can suggest this hotel if anyone going to stay at Shillong nearer to the police bazar. One thing more I would like to add that rooms prices were showing higher rates at online platforms but I had booked my room after reaching there by which I had booked at 50% lesser rates.

Rooms of this hotel are decent. With proper bathrooms and curtains. Oyo supplies along with free wifi was indeed good. No complimentary breakfast although it was written in the internet. What was irritating were small baby cockroaches in the room, and basically they were everywhere. Can't comment on the food as my stay was short.

Only good thing abt this hotel is that is it's location at center market. Rooms are very small some rooms are like store room.. Some rooms do not have any ventilation at all... They have 2-3 good rooms... I have booked 8 rooms here for official purpose but I didn't like it at all... For a shirt duration time it can be good... Breakfast is not at all good.. And the tea..

The hotel is located at central place of the city. There is no lift facility, old persons may have to face problem. Though we booked two rooms for six persons well ahead through goibibo ,they offered two rooms on seperate floors one of which was of very poor quality. When we complained they denied to arrange for a better room. We were extremely annoyed and expressed our dissatisfaction .However, in the evening they could manage to shift us to another room which was much better. Service boys were good, well- behaved and supportive. Finally we had a nice stay and enjoyed our tour to Shillong in full.
