The best hotel to stay , very easy to commute to Har Ki Pauri, also other attractions of Haridwar, the owner of the hotel Ramash ji is very humble and down to earth person

I visited this guest house in April 2019. My experience was not good. During check-in itself, I faced the payment pending issue at the reception. Later on, after so much fuss it was found that mistakenly or I should say deliberately OYO added lunch to my booking due to which my payment was shown pending. Anyways we booked this by checking reviews on OYO and Google but the reality was completely different. There were many problems we faced during our stay. The door of the room(103) was not locking properly. The TV was not working, once they installed set-top-box the channels were not subscribed. The bed was creaking. Either AC or Geyser could work at a time. In fact, the geyser was not working properly, they struggled a lot to make it work. The bathroom steel stand to hold the towel was broken and lying on the floor. There was no washroom tissue roll inside. They don't provide a complimentary water bottle. There was no dustbin inside room or washroom. There was frequent electricity outage in the evening for around half hour and only fan and led could operate due to inverter connection. We could not use AC or TV during that time. At once it was total blackout for about 2-3 minutes in the night and it was terrifying. AC itself was in poor condition but it was able to work somehow. Fans were unclean and covered with dust. The hooks behind the door were coming off while we tried to hang clothes. There were guys screaming loud in the corridor at late night while we were asleep and it continued for about 1-2 minutes which was really uncomfortable for a family like us. They beg you for good ratings and feedback which is in-fact a bad gesture. Now coming to some better things, The breakfast was good, (aloo ka parantha, bread sandwich and Maggie) were cooked fine. Parking space is fine but limited to only 3-4 cars. They provided "patraa" on request to sit properly while bathing. Location is not crowded. Wifi speed was decent. almost 1.5 km far from har ki paudi ghat. Staff behaviour was good. So 2 star only for these good things otherwise the experience was really bad.

Here in Haridwar i was looking for budget room. I found Hillway guest house in my budget with a proper location in Haridwar area Kharkari which is nearly 1km away from Harki pauri. Here i got the smooth check in with the reception person name Mr. Mohit Kumar who is really good in behavior with him i got the check in within 5minutes. Room was neat and clean with proper amenities like, Ac, tv , Wifi and all. Staff persons Mr. Nitin Nagar and Mr. Mukesh kumar both given best services during my stay. overall it was nice stay for me Hotel Hillway Guest house within my budget. We stayed one night in this hotel and we booked two room, and my experience was good , this is budget friendly hotel but TV not working , no toiletry , parking facility is available but only 2-3 cars only , Staff behavior is good . room was cleaned . 1.5 KM from hari ki Pouri

The property is a budget hotel with value for money amenities not a very fancy premises. The location of the hotel is around 5kms from the city in Kharkhadi region. The staff is polite and supportive. They have certain issues with the online booking agents which caused some inconvenience to our stay. Other than that it was on okayish experience.

Where to start!!!??? The staff is horrible, unkind and unpolite. Especially a guy who work at reception, he looks at you unfriendly and ask you always for 5 star rating! Room service awful, too! I am very disappointed and this was my worst holiday. I highly recommend that you do not go to this hotel! Worst hotel to stay. Staff does not know how to deal with the guest. They cheat on guests and OYO both and the personnel waits only to be paid to be nice. They don't even have a restaurant. If you go there you will have only a miserable holiday in haridwar.

I generally do not post negative reviews. But i had a nightmare . When I checked in they asked for 2 mins and then they gave me a room which was completely dirty . There was fena in washroom . When i turned pillow at night it was dirty and has stains . Seems like they asked someone to vacate the room. Early morning i checked there were clothes in almira . Seems like it was a servant room that they gave me (rm no. 101) .

One of the highly worst experience with this hotel, Service staff of this hotel is much bad, not any of the supplies is provided by them even they charged bedsheet charges (rs 500) from us because the bedsheet was bit of dirty due to some curry stains that was easily laundrable. The attitude of the hotel manager is very shameful , he having no etiquette hw to deal with the guest, So if anyone is thinking to book a hotel in Haridwar than please never book HILWAY GUEST HOUSE .
