OYO 11935 Hotel Inn - Hotel in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

Worst experience ever! The hotel's water supply is very faulty. Water was not available from the morning. The water drainage system was even worse. The drains were clogged and no room service was provided. The Wi-Fi's router was on but the hotel employees stopped the net connection so that the guest couldn't use that. The employees even stopped the lift as to not let the guests use them. Most of the toiletries and machineries provided by the hotel was broken. Geyser wasn't working. They didn't even clean the rooms regularly. Never staying in the hotel every again. Highly recommend to not stay in the hotel.

Wonderfull experience. Hassle free check in. Very well maintained hotel and rooms. All the staff were very friendly and courteous. Hotel also have Kitchen and you can order anything till 10PM. Geyser and Electric Kettle is also there. Soap kit and towel was also made available including one complimentary brand packaged water bottle. The manager at the reception is fluent in English and Hindi both, he will also help you about Meghalaya tour if you require.

In reality, it DOESN'T deserve a SINGLE STAR also. Rooms were cosy and dirty, no cold water supply- only hot boiling water from both the taps. The chairs, table and the bed - all were broken and it was shaking so much as if there was an earthquake, on sitting/ lying on the bed!! The bathroom glass was broken. The manager, on complaining, said that it's normal! How irresponsible. No room service, no towels provided and no quality breakfast!! They provided us with just 2 breads each and a cup of tea. I would recommend all NOT TO stay in this homestay. You can spend your money on a better place.

Pros: Good hotel. Nice spacious rooms. Moderately good service. Cons: service stops after 10pm, you can't get water if you're thirsty, you've to keep it beforehand. And every morning water runs out, because they can't switch on pumps due to electrical faults. Suggestion: for lack of electrical supply 24x7, the pumps should be filled once in the night so that water doesn't run out in the early morning hours while brushing teeth, or taking a shower or worse when you're using the WC. If needed bigger water tanks should be installed. And reception should always be manned, even if just one person sits at the reception. The guest might need assistance at any hour. Overall: apart from these things, it was a very pleasant stay as the staff is very friendly and helping out most of times. Would recommend staying here if you're looking for a calm and peace atmosphere

Nice & clean , but this is my second visit to this place. But every time we visited there is a issue with food. In first visit we ordered 6 item but they give us only 3 and than saying, we don't have the other items available ,after 1& half hour of ordering. Second time they took around 2hour to deliver the food but this time , we are unable to eat due to the raw smell of ready made spices added in a vast amount and the chicken we ordered is not well cooked as well.

Very Bad Service. Behaviour of the hotel owner is very bad. He does not know how to behave with guest. Only 3 staffs in the entire hotel. They also are not good. They went away by locating the hotel gate at night. We had a little problem. We could not find a single staff. After a lot of searches, the owner of the hotel came and abused us. Even he threatened us to through out at 1 pm & bring police for arrest us. The hotel owner was in a state of being drunk. The room comes with a very bad language and tells us to call the oyo room service, There is no comparison of this hotel to see very bad behaviour. Poor hotel with poor service.

Not impressed by the behaviour of the staff, especially the manager of the hotel Priyanshu Nath. In name of complementary breakfast they provided 2 pieces of bread and when asked they said this is the quantity given in complementary breakfast. I don't recommend this hotel at all, especially for the family. When I expressed my view that I am not satisfied by the service, they started to quarrel with me instead of accepting their mistakes.

Located at RR Colony Rynjah, the hotel is quite nice. I loved the bamboo bed and chair. However, there arent many food outlets nearby. And the hotel did not provide food. So I had a hard time walking around looking for restaurants. Since it was a residential colony, there were more houses around than hotels! But Swiggy had recently arrived at Shillong. So getting food wont be a problem anymore! One can definitely choose to stay here!
