Please Read Complete Review: Rooms: Rating:3/5 Rooms are big and spacious as well as well ventilated and consisting of Non-Inverter AC (Read diff between inverter and Non-Inverter AC if u want to know why am ranting so much) Room service is available during hours of operation of restaurant only (No 24*7 tea or coffee in room) Rooms need some serious renovations. Verdict : Rooms not satisfy the cost of 224 Rs (Booked by OYO for 3 Guests in 1 Room) Reception and Hospitality: Rating:1/5 After booking with OYO, we checked in the hotel and receptionist did blunder and allotted our room to another family. Manager asked us to cancel our booking from OYO (PS: He charged us by OYO charges only and we lived in same room where we checked in ) Language issue can be faced in their restaurant. Waiters wont understand the conversation. Manager or the main cook of restaurant is dumb (Read Restaurant section of review for more info) PS: Hotel Manager is very generous to help and sweet worded and knows Marathi very well :) Restaurant: Generally whenever we visit south Indian places, we prefer to eat traditional food only but one day while we decided to have dinner at the restaurant of this hotel, we got worst experience, I work for TEDx Events, so hospitality is important for me. Somehow we placed out order and the waiter somehow ended uped arranging 2 plates instead of arranging 3 on table. We ordered Manchurian as starter and "HOTEL SERVED IS MANCHURIAN WITH LIGHT FLY INSECT DEAD IN IT" on asking waiter to call manager, manager finally arrived and says "Sir, It's an insect!" he even didn't showed courtesy to apologize for this. This restaurant works in certain operating hours only so you will get tea or coffee in those hours only at your room Final Verdict: Don't expect hospitality, good food in this hotel. For good food visit hotels on MG Road Make sure that room windows are closed else mosquitoes will take care of you! Even don't visit the neighbor hotel, it is also blessed by mosquitoes Hotel s not worth for money that you pay. See the attached pic My manchurian got delivered with dead 'Light Fly' in it

We booked this place as an emergency as an overnight stopover. Photos online seemed ok so we went for it. The hotel is old and has a dated look and feel to it but that's fine. The room we stayed in , the washroom was pathetic and leaking, no hot water as promised as per timings. It was so badly lit and looked unhigenic and dirty that we refrained as far as possible from using the washroom. We were a couple with a baby and were allocated a room next to their kitchen entrance, it was a dingy corner and badly lit corridor passage. Wouldn't recommend for couples or family. The restaurant was fine though food was decent. Would stop here again. Never . Especially not with my kid. We checked in late and checked out early , that sums up everything doesn't it, had it been satisfactory we didn't mind staying longer.

PLEASE DON'T BELIEVE THE PICTURES - WHETHER in OYO or on the hotel website. I had a really bad experience and uncomfortable experience. In OYO the hotel has 4.6 rating and the reason for that rating is - the hotel staff force the guests to give them 5 rating on OYO at the time of check out. So when the guest is at the reception for checkout, the first thing they say is, "sir open your OYO app, go to your booking, and sir give us 5 rating", that's how they demand. Coming to hotel experience, though some of the staff at the reception are courteous and friendly, the property itself is very badly maintained. The room and bedding are not cleaned properly. I still found so many hair on the bedding, the bedsheets and towels though washed, it doesn't look clean or new. The bathroom is absolutely not well maintained. Such a big establishment and they cannot afford a clean and new bucket (look at the pictures). In 2019, who uses such old, really old TV???. There is a lamp but not cover to it. AC works but no cooling, ceiling fan makes noise. Really sadden by the experience. OYO and the hotel management really need to look into the mentioned issues and lot of other issues. I definitely won't go back to this hotel and I don't recommend this property as well. But if you do decide to book, best of luck! (Sarcasm)

A hotel which is located at the centre of chickmaglur , 250m from ksrtc dipo. 1km from bus stand. The hotel is having a secure and nice parking space for vehicles. Price is cheap ,not very expensive. It feels like hotel is in a vintage style(its an old vintage hotel maintained in a nice manner) we got complimentary breakfast. It was nice. I find the service a little awkward, coz people speak native language more and it was little confusing to communicate. Room was looking neat and clean. But bathroom was moderate. The floor was not soo clean also water stopped during bathing and it took a while to pump water. Also hot water was available btwn 7am-11am n 5pm-8pm . But in our room only hotel water tap was working and we was unable to mix it with cold water. It was a major problem. Also there was a nice lobby which was much fabulous looking.

Worst hotel ever seen of an OYO Property. Chickmagalur stay at planter court rooms are soo worst that not even local lodges keep it like this. Worst of all i have in entire India. I am adding the photos of it please check and think twice to book it again. See the toilets, see the bath towels provided, see the Flooring, see the pillows, see the bucket and water doesnt come atall. Worst of worst i can rate it -10. OYO BETTER YOU TAKE SERIOUS ACTION AS THE HOTEL PEOPLE ARE WORST. While checking out the Reception Lady grabs the mobile from were the rooms are booked and she Rates it 5 star to create attur nuesense. All fake reviews 100% true by our experience.

Booking rooms through Oyo was easy but the rating given for the property is not right, poor service, bathrooms don't have hot water, they don't even respond even after requesting them to set it right. They arranged for another room just to take bath but didn't clean and staff denied to clean the bathroom. In-house restaurant is bad, no options nor they function properly. They didn't even bother to inform where the breakfast is served. Plates cups n place itself is dirty. Staff is least bothered about anything. I don't want to even rate them

The rooms are just ok. It is not a new hotel and the rooms feel as if you are in a 90s movie. My room was not very clean and room service was also lagging. They can help you book a cab for full-day sightseeing for around Rs2200 ( PS. Our trip got over in half a day).

The Staff is very Courteous and Friendly but the Hotel needs serious renovation . If they don't want to do renovation then they should really lower the tariff . The taps in Bathroom don't work, ACs don't work, the towels and linen are dirty.. rooms are not maintained.. two stars I've given only for the good staff they have otherwise the hotel is not worth 2 stars
