It's a great place with very much historical significance. Due to its oval shape, it is called the Oval Ground or Maidaan. The total area of this beautiful ground must be around 22 acres and the Churchgate station and Bombay High Court are very much nearby to this. Those coming in Central Local Trains may reach here by coming to CST station and from there you can come here by BEST buses or taxis. It is a popular recreation ground and mostly cricket and football are played here.

What an amazing area. Visited on a Sunday and there were I would say a hundred games all going on at the same time, some really good cricketers. See why Indians are so good at their cricket if this is the grass roots cricket experience they get.
