An absolute gem to get away to, such a beautiful little island on the backwaters with friendly staff and delicious food - a truly memorable resort. The 6 cottages are simply furnished but clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The staff are very friendly and take great care of you (the sunset canoe ride and morning nature walk were brilliant) and the food they served up was delicious every meal, and there was always plenty. You'll have an amazing time here and it's a beautiful spot to escape to.

Definitely my highlight stay in Kerala so far! Amazing calm place, beautiful house, the most delicious food i ever had in India and super friendly staff! Definitely recommended to everyone to stay here at least 2-3nights and enjoy the beautiful nature around, backwaters and birds flying around! Lower ratings are due to wrong expectations. It's a wonderful serene retreat on the backwaters. It's a place to just lay back and watch the world go by. The resort also offers free canoe rides and rice paddy and village walks. The rates include full board. The rooms are amongst the cleanest and most comfortable we have experienced in all of India. It's activity eco friendly. I do not think you can expect more. We booked two nights and after the first night we looked at the options to extend our stay.

Absolutely amazing. Not only the location, the place, the team or the food and activities. It's sustainable, green, friendly, cosy, etc. Our favorite stay during our trip in India. Be careful : the access to the resort is by boat, from the other side of the river !

Guys if you are looking to experience backwaters in close quarters, this is the place to be. Exquisite views to unending backwaters from the sit out of your room is their speciality. You will have a feel of back to nature here as the nature is left to grow by its own. Staff are always smiling & ready to go extend to make your stay worthwhile. No words to describe the out of the world mouthwatering food served to you three times a day.. overall a great backwater experience to cherish for the life time

If you want to watch tv in the bed room and relax this is not right place for you. This place is in an island and very silent and far away from the usual disturbances and stress we face in daily life. I had very relaxing weekend there. Enjoyed fishing , canoeing and village walk. Food was awesome. Breakfast lunch and dinner provided so that you can spend whole day in the island without depending on outside restaurants. Good place for bird watching

We had an amazing stay at Our Land Resort. This place is very quite and relax in the middle of the Kerala Backwaters. The food is delicious and the staff very kind and friendly. Highly recommended!!

Great place. Isolated from the crowd, on an island in the Backwaters. Beautiful environnement. We had a house in a tree. Everything was there, and everything was very clean. Cooking was delicious and the hosts were very nice. They also offer Ayurvedic treatments. We definitely recommend this place for those who search something different.
