Its about 11km from borivali gorai jetty point. Its calm and serene located on the hillock overseeing the arabian see with generally less crowd. You can go for a short ride here and experience the absolute bliss. Should avoid going by car unless you are staying near by. There are few resorts around the church, for an overnight stay of for the meal.
Place of worship in Uttan close to sea shore. One can spend time with family and friends. Don't go by maps direction and ask locals they will better guide you to the location. Visited the church on Sunday evening not much crowded. It's a fisherman Koli village

Must visit atleast once. Very scenic location. Preferably visit before sunset. Surrounding/parking lot should have been better managed to make the spot more iconic :-)
This was one of my best church visits with my bestie. The church is devoted to Mother Mary and is built with spacious surrounding just touching the sea shore. It is located in Dongri area in Uttan, Bhayandar. You can take a autorickshaw from Bhayandar West. It will cost upto Rs150 - 200 since the place is located in the village area of Bhayandar with majorly fishermen Catholic and Maharashtrian Kolis. The around the church is just amazing as you can view the sunset. There is also a huge statue of Mother Mary just few mins away from Church. Once in a while, you have got to visit this place for peace and it's tranquility. God bless all!
The is one of the best place in uttan, peaceful, blessed and a must visit for Mumbaikar. You can go with family and friends for blessings and photography. The beach view is amazing and do visit the top of the church it feels amazing, Near by beach is uttan beach, Valenkanni beach and some good resorts out there. Go enjoy
