Beautiful church located near the Rachol ferry point. Amazing serene and tranquility. Church altar is mesmerizing and ample of parking space is available. Another church by the same name is located in the neighbouring village Raia.
Simply breath taking ! Beautiful white church against the lovely greenery of rural Goa. The altar of the church has an intricate gold work which stand out and has you awestruck with its beauty. It's a calming place to be with its peaceful surroundings. Ample of parking place too.
Visit and Meditate
Very beautiful church with huge space for parking and just for walk. I personally find this very peaceful. Best time to visit is evening to witness amazing sunset over the paddy fields. So good just for walk or cycling. There is a ferry point as well near the church. Would recommend this place for peace lovers follow me on instagram @ritusangle for more offbeat travel content. It is attached to a small remaining portion of the old fort of Rachol and located at the southeastern end of the village
Beautiful ancient church built by the Jesuits and now administered by the Diocesan fathers. There present church was built in 1596 but still very strong and beautiful.

The Church also hosted weekly Retreats under the guidance of Fr. Conceicao....... If you're in Goa do visit the Church as it's worth visiting.....
The interiors too are magnificent.... And before the Pandemic you'd notice hundreds of people gathered for Retreats...... A Blissful place to be..... Feel Blessed!

We spent 20-30min admiring the location. The bridge creates a perfect round with its reflection when clicked from side.
Not much is left of the Rachol Fort except this gate. Well, it isn't really the structure but the stories this gate hold, leading into historic village of Rachol! A very scenic walk and village passing through this gate.
