Amidst Royal ambience and nawabi vibes i got highly disappointed by the quality of the food. Not at all expected from Oudh. I ordered chicken gaulati kebab, murg zaffrani kebab, chicken afgani biriyani and firni . The biriyani was pathetic,kebabs were also not vry fresh. But amid this puja rush we got seated vry fast and very warmly welcomed by their staff.
A visit to this place is like experiencing a teleportation back to the era where kings and courtesans would enjoy listening to the ghazals while sitting in a mesmerizing palace setting. The interiors here evoke the charm of an bygone era and the ghazals which play in the background set the right tempo for you to experience the rich and flavorful Awadhi cuisine. I would definitely recommended this place with a caution that some outlets have better ratings than others, so you may choose accordingly.
The atmosphere is very good, and the periodic ambience is very enjoyable. And the music, oh . Every detail is very nice, neat and clean. Service is good too. Food is dependable, generally good but this time my kabab and shredded mutton in biriyani was a bit salty, quite sure it wasn't the regular taste. Otherwise everything is good.
Was the first time visiting this particular outlet of Oudh. And like all other outlets, it did not disappoint. The royal ambience, the classical sufi music in the background and the good behaviour of the staff. The food was beautifully prepared. We ordered the Ghosht Awadhi Handi Biriyani, which was light, full of biriyani flavour and the mutton was so delicate. We also had Murgh Metiabruz Biriyani, which was good but not to the levels of the mutton. We ended the evening with a must have if you are in Oudh. Their Shahi Tukda, its a MUST have, you need to order it (if you have diabetes, risk it for one night but order it). Traditional bread pudding, kheer on top ended up with dry fruits and saffron. Just Wow!!
Oudh is basically famous for its ambience and food quality definitely. Ambience is awesome which attracts people, food is tasty.Though oudh biryani is not very spicy, it quite dry type.
A Cozy Oudh 1590 Outlet in Kalindi The Restaurant is very Calm and Wholesome, the Food tastes Good and the Service is nice as well I loved the Chandeliers of this Outlet as well - Overall a great restaurant and a great outlet of Oudh 1590.
Biryani and galouti kabab is best. They were excellent with the right taste and aroma. Prices might be at premium but worth the food and ambience
A super Moghal gharana themed Moghlai and North Indian restaurant. They always plays sufi and classiical music in background. Ambience is quite royal and food is just another level. We had Reshmi kabab and chicken tikka kabab both serves with laccha peyaj. They give one dahi rayta one coriander rayta and mix achar in every table as complementary (no charge) . We also had mutton ran biriyani with mutton roganjosh. Both were different from any other restaurant and so good also. Lastly we had amm panna with rose drink ( forget actual name) both drinks were not good. So please do visit.
