What an incredible experience staying at this property! As a young traveler who adores forests and mountain terrain, I wholeheartedly recommend this place without any hesitation. The natural beauty is mesmerising. For older individuals, I would suggest ensuring you're comfortable with stairs before booking. It's best to have a chat with the staff before making your reservation, as they are incredibly helpful and accommodating. The owner of the property deserves a special mention for being so kind and assisting us in every way possible. The overall experience was simply amazing! I rated the service with 4 stars, but once you visit the property, you'll understand why. Despite that, it's an absolute must-go for young people looking for a rejuvenating vacation and some quality time. Couples, in particular, will fall in love with this place. Don't miss out! And YES " First Time Walk Down To Heaven " Absolutely! The feeling of walking down to see such a heavenly place for the first time is truly indescribable. It's like stepping into a magical world that takes your breath away. The beauty of nature surrounds you, and it feels like a dream come true. It's was really a wonderful experience to be at orient retreat ... A serene atmosphere with a wonderful home made style cuisine . Specially I wonder how come the service staffs helped us by carrying the luggage from so down to up of the hills. The manager Roopam was excellent and specially the lady staffs and one young guy ( don't know the name but could remember him for the animal love ) was fantastic. Overall i can rate 4.3 out of 5. Only to be looked upon is rooms were having some insects ( that's quite obvious being it inside the jungle ) but otherwise everything were really wonderful. I will definitely refer my family and friends to be at your place and enjoy the beauty of nature ..

Had a wonderful experience, stayed for 4 night in the resort, peace and calm place in the mid of the jungle food is excellent, staff are very polite. Will definitely visit again

The location is amazing. They have two options for rooms one is deluxe & another one premium. From the main road you need to go 30 steps down to reception. If you go for premium rooms those are close to reception & if you go for deluxe rooms again you need to go down by 126steps. The atmosphere was awesome middle of the jungle you are staying. Rooms needs to be more maintained, they don't provide food, tea & snacks in the room you need to go at the dinning room next to reception. You might be facing network issue too.

Place is good no doubt. But lack of maintanance. Delux cottages are a bit dirty & dark. But premium cottages are good. But they should use pest control spray everyday when guests are there as the insects are everywhere. The main thing is the manager at the reception, kind a rude person. Doesnt care abut anything you say. They dont serve breakfast lunch & dinner to the room. You have to take big stairs to go to the top at dinning area for having meal. Doesnt matter rain or anything else. Even if you are sick. They dont care anything. So old & weak people stay away from this place.

Had a lovely experience, peaceful place away from the crowd, want to experience nature this is the best place. Food is really good. Over all very great experience.

We stayed here from 12 to 15 th August. If you have no physical problem i.e knee or ankle issues, then go for premium. Among six cottages, three are premium. We two couples stayed at most secluded cottages, the last of all six, with wall sized glass window. Caretaker has tried best to give it a rusty look with wooden panelling, beautiful British era bunglow type cottages with red bricks and yellow warm lights. One issue is, you have to climb approx 100 stairs to have lunch or dinner.

It was an great experience staying at Orion Retreat. We have stayed 3 days here, if you don't want noisy place and you like the nature then you should go here & feel the unique experience in the middle of the sonada forest. Owner is also very well behaved. Will go again there
