Orion County Vagamon - Resort hotel in Peermade - Idukki, India

First I want say about the location and privacy, which is wonderful and we enjoyed a lot. For this I rate 5. The most disappointed is about room which I not maintained well, we took 1bhk room for 2 family and the rate also was cheap and best. But room condition was so pathetic and we informed the management we didn't get any response. There were no bath towel when we checked which we got on next after several reminder. Food was good overall for us. We were totally upset only for the room condition. So management pls look into the matter and do the needful for your future and we wish you good luck.

Nice experience. It is a big area of 400 acres of tea plantations. Beautiful quarters to stay. A nice restaurant. Good for families to spend few days in the cold weather and fresh air from the busy modern urban life.

Will give 10 out of 10 for the scenic beauty but!!! Giving one star for their hospitality , and the maintenece of the rooms .. rooms are spacious with balcony ...we had ours facing towards lake ... the view was simply beautiful .. but the washrooms were horrible ..the flush was not working , pipes were leaking like if we brush our teeth and spit it in the washbasin it directly falls on our feet ... guess the toilets were not cleaned for decades ..water through the tap was brown in color had to waste a lot of water until it got cleared ...there were lot of insects in the room .. tv was not working initially but took hours to fix it ... washroom flush was asked to fix ...but they were not able to fix it ... in the kitchen the tap over the sink is placed in such a way that water falls everywhere except in the sink so there are fungal growth on the curtains near the sink..there is no signal for the phone and net... food was not that bad but it took hours to reach which again felt irritated ...overall dint like the experience because it was not worth the price of 9k ( for 2rooms) Will never ever recommend this place for any one

Nice location. Cottages are spacious and spread across tea plantation. Has a big water body in the center. Overall wonderful place. But service need to be improved a lot. Food is tasty but limited choice.

This place is really awesome and so beautiful. In their 400 Acre Tea plantation, there will be 3 sunset view points in the top. The scenery is really awsome. And you can walk through the tea plantation and the lake. Also they have lake view quattages avilable. We chosed quattage in the top. At the time of 6 pm our quattage is covered with mist. Their staff are very polite and realy happy to receive us. Besides all these, Rocky will be waiting for you. A cute pug puppy. He will definitely win your heart. Trust me guys, they delivers an immersive and unforgettable stay, making it an excellent choice for nature enthusiasts and those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. I stayed at Orion County Vagamon-Kerala for one night 2 days in December 2022. Many thanks to the hotel staffs (John) for making all the arrangements and making us feel so comfortable. We stayed in a cliff view cottage and had the privilege of a 360-degree panoramic. Rooms and Amenities: The rooms are well cleaned, and the bed/sheets are all cleaned. The toilet is spacious and comes with a clean closet. I appreciate Bonfire's dedication to customer satisfaction! In brief, we loved our stay there and would visit this place again! Veg starters & food can be improvise, expected hot food to serve & some basic requirement ( tea/coffee) service to be given at rooms.
