ORIENTAL INSURANCE CO LTD - Insurance company in Manjeri - Malappuram, India

My name is sureshbabu and I own a car KL53S4771. On 28th September l had visited this office in connection with a insurance claim of my car. I had a pleasing experience there and the staff was very cordial and helpful throughout the process also very happy to see that the survey of my damaged car was done the very next day.

For transfer of RC, they have Rs 61 fee. And, they require it to be send as DD. No option of doing it online, or transferring the amount online. Almost all other insurance companies offer it free. And it is not easy to take DD in this corona times, where one can go to bank only on 3 days of the week. And then the queue will be so long that it would take several hours. And then go to post office, pay the postal fee, and post it to their address. All for Rs61!!! Such inefficient companies should just close down.

Really bad experience from front office staff. I went to manjeri office today regarding my bike insurance. I felt that the front office staff are not aware of their sections or individual responsibility. When i asked about the policy then the first person pointed to the second one with a comment she will answer for your questions, when i talk to the second one, the lady, she again pointed to the first man. Then a third person came to the scene( i dont know what is his role, he was just standing behind the front desk) and started arguing with first one.. lol.. this all things are happened infront of a customer.. ( they didn't mind the customer). I think they are not trained well or the company just picked them from market without knowing their attitude). May be the company's overall customer relationship is good. I am putting 1 because i believe that the front office is the face of the company.

Poor costumer service. Stafs are not accurate and they so lazy. I came here to took a insurance for my bike. Even after a 1.5hr they didn't passed it. They still foolishing me. Go for another insurance company. Oriental manjeri is not good at all

Worst experience.from manjeri office.. Don't know about all staff but iam sure the cashier is not suit for that job.. So lazy staff that i ever seen. He dont know hw to treat a customer. Its my last insurance i'll never choose oriental
