A great place to visit in a close proximity of Shillong. The place is maintained and decorated very well. Could only get a sneak peek of the main orchid display as the point was closed to public temporarily due to covid 19 pandemic. Nevertheless, a great place to stop by.
The only Orchidarium in the State. ... they also help out the Florists/ Gardeners of the region to put their stuff in display for sale with no single paise of profit or commission charged from Florists/ Gardeners ...their motives to promote Florists/ Gardeners business..

Good initiative by Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development under Department of Biotechnology, GoI. Huge potential. However the visit was disappointing, closed though it was within the visiting time, waited for half an hour to get it opened. The staff was not able to answer basic queries on plants. Prices were very reasonable. Request to the Dept, please don't let the facility created, die away.

Came here for wisdom tooth extraction and the doctor did a great job. He explains beforehand how he will proceed and listens to his patients' concern. I highly recommend a visit if you have any dental ailments.
