Had a very pleasant stay. The cottage is very well maintained and furnished. Rooms were neat and clean. The owner of the property,Mr Darell is very soft spoken and helpful. Overall the stay was very cozy. Highly recommended.
Great place to stay in Shillong. Darrell is an amazing host. Very polite and accommodating. Would definitely recommend Orchidale for family or solo travelers. Pretty good breakfast also with some nice local bread and jam. Will definitely return here when I'm back to Shillong. Totally recommended.
Orchidale was our top choice in the 2 week trip we did in the north east with regard to comfort and cleanliness. The stay in the 80 year old heritage house well fitted with all mod cons was very comfortable. Darrel the owner is a soft spoken gentleman who was ready to help us out with all that we needed. Would surely recommend this place in any shillong itinerary
Excellent and professional host. Clean and neat guest rooms and shared spaces. Healthy home food provided for meals. Good location as well. A quiet neighbourhood at the heart of the city. Would definitely recommend this to our friends back at home

One can only fall in love, admiration and awe once we reached Orchidale. We booked 2 nights at this beautiful vintage home. Wonderful people hosted us and we absolutely loved out stay!!
Had a very nice experience at Orchidale. The premises are wonderfully kept, rooms are impeccably clean and have the vintage charm one so longs for. Breakfast is fantastic. The location is a residential area, a little far from the Police Bazaar but was just right for us as we wanted a very peaceful stay. Quite close to Laitumkhra where most cafes are located. Mr. Darrell, the host makes your stay just about perfect. He's very helpful and supportive. So overall, highly recommended.
If you are visiting shillong you MUST stay here.. Beautiful ancestral home. Warm and cozy. Super super clean well maintained. Owner is super sweet and welcoming. This was so far the best place we have stayed in our entire trip to Meghalaya.

We had a lovely stay at this property. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was top notch. Indian, khasi food and continental. Did not use the pool. But was looked very nice. Had great drinks and dinner at poolside bar.
A great place with good amenities, it's got a very artistically designed cafe with a tasty menu, the fruit ice creams there are a must,they freshly prepared each day which is great!
