Orappan Kettu Water Falls - Tourist attraction in Pattikkad - Thrissur, India

A very nice place to visit if there is water. Surrounded by greenery. But sadly there was very little water when we went. But therefore we could see the large holes that was in between rocks, so beware when you get into the water for swimming once there is water, don't get fooled by the height you see from above and place your each step carefully.

The trip to Orappan Kettu Water Falls was spectacular. I went there with my friends. All of us work at the Institute very close to Orappan Kettu Water Falls. It takes about 15 minutes to walk. Although it is a nearby waterfall, we only go there occasionally. As the monsoon is not strong, water is scarce. The trip was awesome and I was scared to climb over the rocks. But my friends were very encouraging and helped me get through it. Suuper Happy......... Visiting time: 8am to 5pm NB: 1. Be careful as the rocks are slippery. 2. Don't through plastic or other garbage.

Nice place to hangout with family and friends, need some walk to get here but it's worth the effort...

Risky spot. No guidance at all. Dont take children there. Only few people visting there. DTPC should make it attractive.

Wonderfull place to hangout friends. This waterfall is one kilometer away from the main road. If you are coming by car you have stop near the road and walk. bike can be rode. It's not much suitable for family and couples. Better to hangout with friends. We can bath in the waterfall but the rocks are slippery so aware of it. This place is not crowded. If you visiting peechi dam you can visit here and take a bath for refreshment.

Orappan kett waterfalls is one of the less known gem in Thrissur district. A very big area of waterfalls. There are 3-4 waterfalls present there. Very beautiful place to chill out with friends and family. Very calm and peaceful place. Forest area and so there is privacy to. Nowadays the flow of water is good and so need to be very careful. A lot of space to swim to. It is located on the peechi dam road and then turn to pocket road to reach there. You have to walk around 300mts off-road to reach the waterfalls. A must visit one. Entry is free and is always open. Visit now....it is worth visiting.
