ORANGE VILLA by FORESTEA - Resort hotel in Bara Mungwa - Kalimpong, India

We're ardent travellers. We keep travelling a lot and love exploring new places, mainly off beat locations. And honestly speaking this is by far one of the best stays in any remote places we've stayed. It's a newly renovated homestay and the owner has tried all means to keep it decorated with all modern amenities and accessories. But above everything is the hospitality. The hotel manager Ms. Babina and her entire team always wearing a smile on their faces and never has a 'No' for any of your request. And the food!! Quantity and quality wise it's simply outstanding. Overall, we're simply touched and ecstatic. Felt like HOME, away from home. Would definitely look forward to visiting again, if we get an opportunity, for sure !!!! Do visit this place and you'll love it :)

I didn't stay there so I can't say much. But you can buy tickets to visit the orange garden. The garden is beautiful. They have a few dogs you can play with. And you can pick oranges to eat or bring with you but they were mostly sour.

Had a great experience in the Orange villa homestay.The service provided by the manager and the staffs were heart touching. The property was well maintained.Surajit the cook of the homestay used to prepare delicious Bengali food for us.The orange yards were well maintained. Only a few things I would like to share as an honest review the bathroom in our room had few drainage problem..like water used to overflow from the basin and their was no mixture tap for hot and cold water.Secondly the food was very good but it was over priced.Other than these things we had a very good stay over there.Loved the ritual the way they bid farewell to the guest.All the best Shivam...you and your staffs are doing a grt job

Rooms are not specious.. The swimming pool is not clear. However the quality of food is good

You can stay there though i didnt, this place is for tourist those are fond of orange garden or something like that.

There Were Six Of Us.Entry Fee Ticket Sellers Are Fraud Because They Provide Us One Ticket (Rs.50/-)And Take 300 Rupees From Us.

Very nice and cosy place.. beautifully decorated...the food is nice and not very spicy, so kids can also enjoy it. The surroundings are very nice, although sunrise or mountains cannot be viewed from there..but after a walk of just 10 mins..you can get wonderful views of ranges faraway if weather permits.. Bathrooms are very clean. They have a lawn, covered chairs in front to enjoy evenings and for kids to play.. They also have an orange orchard attached in the backyard.. The staff are courteous and very helpful too.. A nice quiet place to stay..

It was an amazing experience, the people over here were very nice and friendly. We had the best time of our lives here. Please do visit this place you'll love it. And the food was also excellent it's like having home food away from home.
