Open Tea House - Cafe in Siliguri - Jalpaiguri, India

Absolutely loved the ambience. The smoking area (baithak) is hands down the best place to sit in. The food quality needs betterment according to the price range. Liked the "Mustard Mayo Chicken Sandwich" more than the chicken wings. Even after mentioning to make it spicy, they failed to do so. So kinda disappointed in that. But apart form this, the staffs are very polite and welcoming. The service is undoubtedly top notch. Would love to revisit!

First things first : As soon you start to enter the place, the paintings on the wall will take your breath away. Hats off to the ones who painted it. I am uploading the pictures for you all to see. Coming to the food and the ambience now. You will immediately fall in love in the place because of everything. The reception is so well decorated and will make you feel at home. There are different rooms very well decorated. The most loved one would be the balcony one for sure. Then there are old Bollywood themed posters. Books. You gotta visit and checkout this place, if you are ever in bidhan market or nearby. Coming to the food, I ordered: 1.White Sauce Pasta It tasted heavenly, specially the sauce. I would also like to mentioned how the pasta was nicely covered when it got served to us. 2. A Combo It had a veg burger, fries and masala tea. At first my sister wasn't sure if the burger would actually make her stomach full but it did. She loved the taste. I loved it too. The Chai was good as well. The fries were good too. I found the prices very reasonable. Luckily, the place wasn't that crowded today. This place is a must, must, must visit. It's a place to fall for Sharing the pictures too.

This place is absolutely fantastic! It is based on Bengali Culture & has beautiful ambience, food and people. The cafe is located just 10 - 20 steps from the Bidhan main road & the cuisine are priced very attractively. A must visit for a get together with family or friends!

Loved the place n the ambiance... The decore of the cafe is very traditional best part is the wall is full of hard painting who ever painted this building I must say he or she is filled with talent loved all the painting truly deserves a reward I went when it was raining and I choose to be at the top floor Trust me I loved the ambiance this is my 5th or 6th visit to open tea house ... Food very reasonable n the taste is also good but I'm disappointed with masla coke they added lots of sugar syrup I couldn't have it rest staffs are very reasonable n Humble I'll surely visit again n again

They really have a great ambience. They literally play songs mildly to set the mood. They have this chamber kind of theme, which is really impressive. Awesome place and atmosphere.. staff behavior is so good.and food is very testy.. perfect pocket bajet place. Overall I LOVE THIS PLACE

Atmosphere is so good and soothing but didn't like the teste of foods. Average in teste.

Situated at the main market area, this place has a good ambience, and gets a wide range of crowd from kids to teenagers and adults. It's aesthetics is top notch, loved each and every wall art painted on the walls of the cafe. There are two floors, the upper one gives you a nice 'Bonedi bari' vibe, and the lower one is a bit of chill place. Coming to the food and price, we ordered chicken burger, veg grilled sandwich, egg devil, and amritsari fish with fries. The service was a bit delayed, but it was okay for us, as it was a festive day, and they had a lot of customers to serve. The food could have been better, the veg sandwiches felt a bit dry in mouth, but the chicken burger was amazing! Price for two would be around Rs300-Rs400 Overall, it was a great evening for me at this place.

Its an awesome experience, food is amazing, ambio is amazing Do try Aam Papad Chae.... Amazing For Family n Friends , a great place to hangout. Ashit Da n Alka were superbly friendly n nice...
