Ooty View point - Tourist attraction in Ooty - The Nilgiris, India

It's not an exact point where you stop and look around, it's an area which is amidst a lot of houses. If u go early in the morning, you can walk around and shoot pic's. The road leading to the place is not good, maybe it's worth parking your vehicle where the bad patch starts and start walking. We did get some good pics and fresh air with hardly any ppl around. It's a good vantage point to be up the hill and get a view . Do take a visit preferably early morning for a silent walk and looking around. Do post your review and comments. Thanks

One of the best places to see when you go for a trip to Ooty. A very must visit place..A thrilling experience. The view you get to see from the viewpoint is extraordinary. And every few hours the hill gets covered in mist and that experience is extraordinary.

Its highest peak point of south india. Need some maintenance and parking management.

Very nice place, for sightseeing, top most hill point of the city, plassent environment, good people. U fill above the clouds here. ooty view point, telescopic view point, playing area for kids, clean area

Every time I come to my country, I don't have a good time if I don't go to Ooty, especially in the month of snow, my friend and I always go there. I love traveling.

Good viewpoint but horrible experience overall. Visited in May- peak season. The road to the Dodabetta peak and viewpoint is MISERABLE- bumpy, dusty and crowded with traffic- especially the last 3 km. Car takes you almost to the top after which there is a walk of about 100m to the viewpoint. Parking lot was full and crowded. Entrance fee rs 10. Telescope house and a couple of viewpoints at the top. Restaurant and shops at the top. I guess would be a better idea to visit in the off season.
