We visited ooty in the month of September and had a great experience. The weather was very pleasant. The places in the outskirts are scenic. There are many beautiful lakes nearby. Mudumalai forest and Pykara are must visit. Shooting point on the way to pykara offers a great view. Avalanche lake near to ooty is a treat to nature lovers. Dodabetta peak gives a great view of the city. The weather remains cool here. Overall it's a great place for4-5 days.

Really nice place. Great for 3-4 days trip. We just suddenly planned the trip for the weekend. Because we didn't have holidays, we could not spend more than three days. And only two days we were able to spend the entire day sight-seeing. But still we covered almost all the famous places like Dodabetta peak, Pykara falls, etc. Also the chocolate was excellent. I would suggest everyone to taste it definitely. Ask some local people or wherever you're staying for some good chocolate shops.
Ooty is a beautiful place and the botanical garden is a spot where everyone who visits Ooty prefers to go. Ticket charge was Rs50 for an adult person, there was lot of varieties of flowers and plants which is well maintained. If you are planning to visit please visit during the flower show which gives you an amazing experience.
