If you are looking for a budget cosy stay then "Ooty tent scenic stay" will be the better option within the city.. the distance from Bus terminal is approx 3km.. the owner is very friendly and warm welcoming, we stayed in tent at the terrace which is fully equipped with 4washrooms (with western toilets) and has solar hot water facility. Right now there's only one tent available it can accommodate two adults, you can have the glimpse of city view from the terrace..
